2 months later:

After the revelation of the secrets, Nathan and his friends knew that Ariella and Nat were enough to make her blood boil. The fact that two months ago she began trusting them and wanted to call them her friends. It was a mistake she would not repeat.

Today, we were in a classroom waiting for instructions, we had moved from the prison-like school to their real school Divinità Academy, which was the real place where they would learn about their past, history, and how to control their abilities. Kingston was just a training school where those who passed their test go to Divinità.

Nat and Ella had passed thanks to Vic, who was not only a warrior and the daughter of Ares. She had told Ella and Natalie everything she knew about them, and she still couldn't believe it. Her real father was Hades. Out of the gods out there, he was her father, but she had no mother. He made her in the image of her grandmother not because he somewhat loved her but so that he wouldn't feel guilty if he killed her.

Victoria had told her of her past relationship with Nathan and how it ended with her dead and then Nat killing herself. How she would have to pass her Kingston exams to meet her father.

"You look stressed. Why?" Andrew asked, hugging her from behind his arms, wrapped tightly around her waist as she was on his lap. She smelled like watermelon and death roses, and he loved it.

"I'm always stressed from what Vic and you have told me about Hades I don't think I want to meet him" she and Andrew had become extremely close after she had found out that Nathan and his friends had been lying. He was the only one who was willing to tell her the truth, but she had to pay for it. This meant she would have to befriend him again, and although Nat hated it at first, she hated not knowing the truth more.

The way they were sitting took the attention of the whole class as the not-so-subtle whispers were heard. Nat was sitting next to Carter and had been talking for an hour now. To say Danny was mad was an understatement he was furious. His headphones were off for the first time, and he was listening to their conversation and how hard she laughed when Carter made a joke.

"How long do you think it would take for him to break that pencil?"

" Fifteen seconds, you?"

" Thirty, and if I win, you have to dance with me first at the meeting ball." he took out his wallet and put a thousand dollars on the table. Ella took out another thousand from her pocket and smacked it on the table. "Deal," there was no way he was going to win.

Ella set the timer on her phone and watched as the seconds go by 6,7,8,9 he grabbed the pencil at its tips on both ends 10, 11, 12, 13 Carter leaned in and kissed Nat's hand 14,15. Snap! His eyes turned purple. It was said that if Danny was ever angry, everyone around him should run. He has the ability to control the sound around him and kill them.

He pushed his chair roughly backward and walked out of the class, Nat looked confused at the boy but shot up and ran after him. "Natalie, stop!" Carter shouted after her, but she ignored him.

Whatever happened in Danny and Nat's past made their bond stronger than she could ever have with Carter.

"Should I go after her?" Ella asked Andrew.

"Nah, but I think it would be best if we stopped Carter his intervening with fate and his getting too attached. If we don't stop him now, there is going to be another fight, and it won't end well. " they both got up and ran after Carter.

"Stop! It's not a good idea bud” Andrew said his hand on Carter's chest,  “ And why not?” he said, trying to sound tough “ Because you're getting too attached to her, and you out of all people should know that you're intervening with fate. Your mother warned you, and now I'm warning you. Stop. Pissing. Danny. Off. And stay away from Natalie, if you know what's good for you” Andrew's hand clenched Carter's shirt in his hands, his eyes dead serious.

Seeing the conflict, an unknown hand grabbed Ella's hand and pushed her inside of an empty classroom. “ What the heck Nathaniel ” Ella was furious. How dare he touch her or even put her in the same room together.“ Look, I know I'm not your favorite person right now, but you need to know that your father is coming, and with him by your side will lead to a disaster”

"Why do you mean?" Ella took a few steps back, not allowing herself to in such close contact with him, she didn't she could handle it.

" His the third son of Poseidon, his most trustworthy son out of all his sons. Hades hates him with a passion he'd rather see me with you than him. All I'm saying is now that you are reborn again his going to expect his champion, the old Elaina." A flash of worry crossed Nathaniels eyes. When did he start caring for her when he failed to reveal the truth.

Ella had to think she didn't know her father or her past that well. She needed someone who did, and she hated herself for what she was about to say " Nathan don't let this go to your head and you should know this means nothing will happen between us but I may need your help."

He smiled so beautifully that it was intoxicating he rarely did it, and Ella wasn't even sure he was capable of smiling, but there it was, and for a moment, only a short moment her heart skipped a beat.

" You can always count on me, my love. Now, let's get you ready." Nathan unlocked the classroom door holding Ella's hand in his. He thought he would have to make Ella fall for him again whether she liked it or not.
