Starting The Show

"MOM!"

9 year old Hope Elizabeth Miller rushed down the wooden stairs in her beautiful house. "Yes Hope?" Answered her mom, Abby Lee Miller. "I can't find my jazz shoes." Abby sighed. "Hope, you have lots of pairs of jazz shoes. You'll find some, somewhere. Hope sighed. "Fine." She trudged back up the stairs and walked down the hall to her dance room. Her mom owned a dance studio in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and the kids there were very successful. Hope herself was one of the best dancers in the studio. Why wouldn't she be? She's Abby's daughter. Hope pulled open one of the white doors and looked at the racks and racks and racks of Abby Lee Apparel. She picked out a 'High Neck Tank' in hot pink with matching booty shorts. She dug out a pair of tan turning shoes and grabbed a Abby Lee duffel bag before putting her turning shoes and black ALDC hoodie. She looked around the dance room and saw her tan jazz shoes. She put them in her duffel as well. She found her ballet, tap and pointe shoes along with her Laduca's in the bag. She exhaled. "Is that every thing Hope Eliza?" She asked herself. She looked over her things and nodded when she was satisfied. She zipped up her duffel, slung it over her shoulder. She went and changed into her dance wear and put her hair into a neat sock bun. "HOPE! LETS GO!" Called Abby. "COMING MOM!" Hope answered. She rushed down the stairs once again. She checked the clock. 6:00am. They were late today. Hope walked to the car and Abby drove to the studio.

Once they got there, Hope jumped out and ran in through the door. Abby's assistant, was already at the front desk. "Morning Gia!" Greeted Hope. "Hi Hope." returned Gianna. Abby then came through the doors. "Hope, sweetie, how about you go in and warm up and I'll wait for the other girls to get here.

It wasn't long before Hope's team mates started to arrive. First came in Hope's best friend, Maddie and her sister Mackenzie, along with their mom,Melissa.

Then came Nia and her mom, Holly.

Arriving together was Paige, Brooke and their mom, Kelly and Chloe with her mom, Christi.

They all greeted Abby as they arrived, then proceeded into the den, until they were called for pyramid.

The pyramid was on a chalk board. It was turned around and there was the first pyramid.

Hope was on the top, then on the second row was Maddie, Chloe and Brooke.

Following on the bottom row was Paige, Nia and Mackenzie.

"Girls, this dance season we are going to do what no dance studio has done before. We are going to do a new routine every competition."

Most of the girls looked at their mothers.

"Girls don't look at your mothers, I'm the one in charge here. Okay, so we are going to West Coast Dance Explosion in Pheonix, Arizona. We are going to have a cute little group with Hope, Maddie, Chloe, Brooke, Paige and Nia. And we have a trio with Hope, Maddie and Chloe. Let's get started."
