"Mom hurry up! We're gonna be late!" Karl called impatiently while he waited for his mother outside their house "I'm coming sweetie, don't worry, the ceremony doesn't start for another hour, we'll be there in time" she assured with a giggle.

Karl helped her in the car and then drove towards Sapnap's university, it has been a year since the shooting incident, Dream had been convicted for all his crimes once they managed to link his DNA to several crime scenes and sentenced to life in prison, he had tried to wiggle his way out, saying that he had more information they needed, but thanks to Toast's help, they knew that those were all lies and didn't listen to him.

Jack Manifold got 60 years, while his other men 40, Vik kept his promise and managed to get a short sentence for Mamacita, who will be brought back in Mexico in five years, when she'll get out of prison. Fundy on the other hand, managed to reduce his sentence from 10 to 8 years due to nice behavior, if he kept going like this, maybe in five more years he'll be able to re-enter society.

Karl, thanks to Sapnap's help and support, managed to make huge steps ahead, now he could stay in crowded places without shaking or having a panic attack, he started making new friends and even strike up some conversations with strangers. He still stuttered from time to time when he was very nervous, but if we were to compare him to his past self, there is no game, he was a completely new person.

Today was the day when Sap and his friends got their med degree and Karl didn't want to lose it for any reason in the world, he had been there for Karl in his time of need, now he wanted to be there during Sapnap's graduation.

They soon arrived at their destination, parking and quickly finding a good seat close to the stage. Karl took out his phone and got it ready to record.

"Hey Karl" a voice beside him called, catching his attention "Oh hi Ranboo" he then noticed that Phil's family was there as well "Are you here with Tubbo?"

"Yup, Tubbo and Techno wanted to see Sapnap graduate and invited me over, Philza and Kristin are here to keep an eye on us, while Tommy was just bored and wanted to tag along" he explained as they all sat down close by.

"I heard that you opened a bakery with your mom" Puffy commented "Yeah, it's going great! We have many clients and we even started to make wedding cakes" he said excitedly.

"I'm happy for you dude, maybe I'll pass by one of these day and buy one too, Sapnap's birthday is coming up soon" Karl added.

"You two are still dating right? How long has it been?" Phil asked, making Karl blush a bit "About a year" he mumbled shyly, smiling. Philza patted his shoulder "I'm happy for you mate, you two are a good match for each other" Karl nodded, snapping out of his thought when he saw someone step on the stage.

"Oi can we sit here?" another voice nearby called "Angela? Bad? What are you two doing here? Don't you have work today?" Kristin asked, Angela giggled "We sneaked out, Rae is covering for us" she said with a wink.
