Chapter 3: Chosen

Zadkiel Pov:

"What's this? This is not what I wanted."

"I'm sorry sir, I'll ask first the marketing regarding in this matter."

I closed my eyes. Anong meron sa araw na 'to at puro palpak ang trabaho ng mga empleyado ko?

"No need. Get out."

Dali dali naman umalis ang empleyado ko at ng malapit na siya sa pintuan ay tinawag ko siyang muli.

"Sir, what it is?"

"Tell my secretary to bring me coffee."

Nakahinga siya ng maluwag akala niya siguro ay mawawalan na siya ng trabaho.

"Yes po sir."

My baby calling......

Napangiti ako. I answer the call immediately.

"Hello kuya!"

"Hi, baby!"

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Don't worry about it."

"I'll be back next month kuya. I'm excited to see you."

"You did it on purpose so you could live here in the Philippines."

"Kuya, no! I want to be with you since I feel bored here."

"Feel bored? Really? How can you explain to me then what's happening yesterday?"

"It's her fault not mine. School is a place for learning and not a motel."

"I know you're right but next time be careful okay?" 

"I know kuya."

"Yeah! Then act like one. You know I'm very protective when it comes to you.

"I know kuya."

"Tsss......."

She laughed at me. My sister loves to annoy me.

"I love you kuya."

"I love you too my baby."

Then she hang up the call. "I  miss you my sister."

Narinig ko ang katok mula sa pinto bago niya ito binuksan.

"Sir, here's your coffee."

I didn't reply. She placed the coffee in my table. 

"Sir, did you read the email sent by the Heaven University?"

"No! What about it?"

"They ask regarding about your reply."

"I'll sent my reply later. You may go."

"Thank you sir."

I opened the file that the HU sent me. It's an invitation to attend by next month. I dialed the contact number of  Ronnie, the team leader of my Group, Emerson's.

"Yes, boss."

"Come to my office immediately." I ended the call afterwards.

Another year for another interview. Then who's the lucky one? Kailangan niyang galingan kung gusto niyang makapagtapos ng pag-aaral. 

Christal POV:

Ano ba iyan? Bakit sa lahat ng nabunot ko ay siya pa? Bakit hindi iba?

"Bessy, ayos lang iyan? Kaya mo iyan." Sabi ni Bessy Isaiah

"Anong gagawin ko ngayon? Ang sabi ng mga nakakakilala sa kanya ay nakakatakot si Sir Mave. Paano na lang ako kapag kaharap ko na siya? Baka hindi ko magawa ng tama ang interview ko sa kanya. Paano  na ako gagraduate? Paano na kami ni nanay?"
