They Were There

Chapter 1

It was an ordinary day. At least, she thought it was. Until it happened.

 

SARA’S POV

 

Serajake10. Her internet user. She never would believe that eventually, she would be the one in the screen, controlled by the internet self she had created.

 

“Sara? Are you there?” Addy asked, knocking on the door.

“I’m coming!” Sera replied, closing her laptop and putting it down.

“Hey, how are you?” Sara asked.

“I’m fine, and weren’t we going to play Dragon Slayer?”

“Oh yeah, I almost forgot, lol,” Sara replied.

As we walked in, we opened our clarinets, wet the reeds, and started to play a accented forte E. Then a rest. Then three E’s. This went on for a while, until we played the final note.

“That’s an amazing song,” Addy said.

“IKR!” I replied.

I waved goodbye to Addy, then I went back to my laptop.

Are you still there? click ok to start playing. Huh. I thought I would be logged out by now. We’d played for about an hour. I’m back, i typed.

Ok, good. My friend, who had been playing with me, replied.

Why did you bring me here? I quickly typed. So  we  can talk.  She replied.

Suddenly, my arctic wolf started to say random things. I wasn’t typing.

S-Sera? My friend asked.

My arctic wolf, its glitching! Its randomly saying things!

I said, switching to another animal to prevent further insults.

How does that even work? These are our own animals, that we created. My friend replied. I’m not gonna be your friend anymore. I can’t trust you and your lies.

Great. Now I’ve lost a friend. And its still the morning.

I was locked out. Not a surprise.

My friend, Cats4life239, was on. I think she would understand.

Cats? I have a problem. My arctic wolf is saying random things I’m not typing.

Sera? Oh my gosh, are you ok?

Cats, my arctic wolf is glitching

Sera, I won’t unbuddy you. Just switch to your arctic wolf so I can see it.

Ok…

I switched to my arctic wolf. Still insulting her. And how cats are ugly. Ow. I switched back, then went back to typing.

Oh my gosh Sera, I don’t know what's going on

I  don’t either Cats, I’m  scared.

Sera, hang in there.

Great. That didn’t help at all. I guess I have to try a different tactic, like recycling my arctic wolf. I tried. An error popped up.
