This is a sequel to Neo-Mranderson's Clannad AU fanfic I Couldn't Live Without You, where Tomoya dies via suicide three years after Nagisa's death because Akio snapped at him while drunk and blamed him for her death, leaving Ushio as an orphan.
This sequel is set when Ushio is seventeen years old and in high school, still living with and helping her grandparents. She helps out at their Bakery as a part-time job, and considers Kyou, Ryou, and Youhei as her "aunts" and "uncle". Ushio's life, however, will be turned upon its head once secrets reveal themselves...
