Chapter 5

Genius!!!!

(*The Next Day*)

  I finally finished my homework. It was hard, but not difficult. I then realized that I'm starting work studies today. I felt a wave of excitement wash over me. I immediately put on my uniform again so he knows I'm from U.A. 

  I exited my dorm room and went into the common area. I got hungry, so I took an apple and took a bite out of it. 

  Before I exited the dorm building, I heard Todoroki ask me from behind "Where are you going, Jeager?"

  I turned around and responded with "Yep! I'm going to my work-study!"

  "Huh, okay. What agency are you going to?" 

  "I'm going to the Endeavor Agency." 

  "T-the Endeavor Agency? Endeavor is my father." Todoroki told me.

  I said "That's so cool! It must be awesome to have a hero to be your father!"

  "Midoriya, Bakugou, and I also went there for work studies too. You can ask me anything before you go," Todoroki replied.

    I questioned him again "Really? How was it like there?" 

  Todoroki described to me with "Endeavor is extremely alert. He comes to the rescue before the crime starts. He is also quite fast, and you need to catch up with him. That's basically it." 

  "Thank you Todoroki! I'm going to get my hero costume, so I'll see you later!" I thanked Todoroki and left the dorm building.

  I rushed into U.A., not wanting to miss the bus ride. If I did, I would have to use my ODM gear, and I don't want to use up my gas.

  I entered my homeroom, and both of my costume cases were on my desk. I went over to them. A note was laid on top of them, and it stated "I suggest you wear your ODM gear in the bus."

  I was thinking it might be from Mr. Aizawa, I took the note's advice. I headed over to the locker room and put on my ODM gear. I inserted my gas and blades into my ODM gear. 

  I shut my ODM case and grabbed both cases. I ran out of the locker room and out of the school. I arrived at the nearest bus stop and waited for the bus.

  A few minutes have passed, and the bus arrived. I entered it and sat down. During the ride, people were staring at me. Maybe because I'm a student at U.A., or that I'm wearing ODM gear.

  I ignored them and thought of the possibilities at the Endeavor Agency. They say that it is the number one agency in Japan. I'm excited to go there because it might be busy. The busier, the better.

  I felt the bus come to a stop. I looked outside, and we were at my stop. I got up and grabbed my hero case. I exited the bus afterward. 

  Once I exited the bus, I looked around. Mr. Aizawa told me he was supposed to be here. He also told me he has short, spiked-up crimson hair. 

  I finally found him in casual clothing on my left. I thought he would wear his hero costume. 

  I went up to him, and he asked me "So, are you Eren Jeager?" 

  "Yes. Sir." I replied.

  He told me "Good. I'm Endeavor. I know your secret quirk, so don't hide it from me. Aizawa told me about it if you are wondering."

  Before I got to say 'nice to meet you', he turned around and walked away. I thought Endeavor would be a bit more modest.

  I remembered what Todoroki told me, 'He comes to the rescue before the crime starts. He is also quite fast, and you need to catch up with him.'
