Molly Weasley and her daughter Ginny were staring down at a stranger laying in their bed. Molly's husband Arthur and her sons Fred and George found the poor girl near The Burrow. She was laying down on the ground covered in dirt and blood. She was unconscious so they carried her to The Burrow. "I wonder who she is mother, I've never seen her in Hogwarts before." Ginny said as she gave her mother some blankets for the girl.
"We'll ask her questions when she wakes up now come on darling let's go downstairs." Molly walked out of the room towards the stairs, Ginny followed. The two females reached down the stairs and into the living room six eyes landed on them. "Well? Has she woken up yet?" Arthur asked Molly "I'm afraid not not." Molly walked towards her husband and kissed his forehead.
"Do you think she's a supporter of Voldemort?" Harry asked Molly shook her head. "I don't think so Harry she doesn't have the Dark Mark, and that's the symbol for Voldemort and his Death Eaters." "Maybe she didn't receive the Dark Mark yet." Ron said Molly sighed "We'll find out when she wakes up, alright."
"Okay," The room was silent for a few minuets until they heard something. "I think she woke up." Fred said "We should go check." replied his twin and best friend George. The boys quickly got up from their seats and ran upstairs. "Boys wait!" Molly yelled and started to go after them. "Molly wait honey." Arthur said Molly turned around. "Let them go dear." Molly sighed. "Alright, Arthur."
Fred and George walked into the bedroom they saw the girl sitting up, looking down at the unfamiliar bed that she was in. The girl looked up at them with her medium sized dark brown eyes. Her eyes looked lonesome yet full of life and wander. She had mid-length Dark Brown hair that curled up quite nicely. The males around her age would consider her looks enchanting.
"W-Who are you?"she asked in a low toned voice nearly whispering, she had an American accent the boys weren't sure which state but probably near the northeast. "I'm Fred and this is my brother George. We found you out near The Burrow, we were taking a walk with our father when we found you. You were unconscious and bleeding. Do you remember anything?" The girl shook her head "I don't remember how I got here. I don't remember anything at all really. I know my name and how old I am. My name is Mary Crow and I'm sixteen years old. And..." Mary thought harder trying to remember her life. "And my parents are dead. That's all I remember.." The three were silent for a moment.
"How did your parents die?" Fred asked breaking the silence that was in the room. Mary shook her head with a confused look on her face. "I-I'm not sure. i can only remember little snippets of it." "I think she hit her head." George whispered to Fred, Fred nodded his head. "Come on let's go downstairs I'm sure that our mum and dad would like to speak to you." George said, Mary nodded her head and the three went their way downstairs.
"Do you think she woke up?" Ginny asked "It's possible." Hermione responded to Ginny's question. They heard a few creeks coming from the stairs. Everyone's eyes were on the stairs. First Fred came down the stairs, then George. Then they saw the girl, she came down the stairs and stood near Fred and George. The girl seemed uncomfortable with everyone's eyes on her. Molly noticed that and got up from her seat and made her way towards the girl. The girl was quite tall for her age, she looked about five feet and ten inches. "Hello my dear. My name is Molly Weasley. What's your name?"
"My name is Mary Crow, Mrs. Weasley and thank you for stitching up my wounds." Molly smiled "Oh you're welcome sweetheart. Did Fred and George tell you that?" Mary shook her head "No actually I just figured that." Mary said as she gave Molly a little smile. "Do you remember anything Mary?" Arthur asked Mary shook her head. "No not really." "Where are your parents? Do you know who or where they are?" Mary nodded slightly. "Yes my parents are dead." Her voiced sounded a bit strained and bitter. "Ohh I'm sorry." Arthur said Harry nodded his head, empathizing with Mary. "Do you remember how they died?" Harry asked, Mary shook her head. "Not really I only remember some snippets of it, but not the full memory. From what I can remember right now is that they died in a fire." Mary closed her eyes tight as if she was trying to force herself to remember. She then started to feel a very sharp pain in her brain. "What's wrong?" Molly and Arthur asked simusotianly.
"My head hurts really bad, it feels like someone is stabbing my brain." The started to worsen, her head started throbbing in pain. mary started to rub her temples. "You can lay down if you want." Molly said Mary shook her head and took her fingers off her temples. "No it's fine. It's starting to feel better, thanks though." Molly nodded her head and walked towards the closet and grabbed her purse. "We'll be right back we're going to Diagon Alley to pick some things up." Molly said Arthur raised an eyebrow. "We?" Molly nodded her head. "Yes we, now come on Arthur."
Molly and Arthur left the house, Mary turned towards the teenagers that were in front of her. "What's Diagon Alley?" she asked Ron and Harry widened their eyes, Fred and George raised their eyebrows, and Ginny and Hermione just stood there. "You don't know what Diagon Alley is?!" Ron asked obviously shocked. "Umm yeah..." Ron, Fred, George, and Harry huddled together and started whispering to each other. Hermione and Ginny rolled their eyes and walked up to Mary. "Diagon Alley is q shopping center. You're not from around here are you?" Ginny said. "Yeah.." Hermione looked narrowly at Mary. "I thought you said that you don't remember anything."
Mary nodded. "Well yes but I can remember some things, i just can't remember certain things for some reason." "I see." mary looked at the huddled boys. "What are they doing?" She asked Ginny sighed. "They're just begin morons ignore them." Mary tried not to laugh. "All right then." The boys got out of their huddle and turned towards the girls. "Are you a muggleborn?" Ron asked Mary raised an eyebrow. "What's a muggleborn?" Everyone just stared at her Mary sighed. "Why are you staring at me?!" She asked aggravatedly. The staring teenagers just looked at each other as Hermione nodded as if they were talking to each other's mind and looked back at Mary."Do you know anything about the Wizarding World? Purebloods, Halfbloods, and Muggleborns?"
Mary just looked at Hermione like she was a complete lunatic. "No I don't so." The boys quickly huddled again and whispered to each other. The only thin that Mary heard them say was Muggle. "What's a muggle?" she asked. "A muggle is a person who is born into a non-magical family and is incapable of magic. Most muggles are not aware that magic exists at all. Most muggles only know about the existence of the Wizarding World are usually parents to close relatives of witches and wizards." Hermione informed Mary. "Ohh so you guys are....one of those blood types? Like your,,"
"Wizards and Witches ." Ron cutting Mary off, as Mary nodded her head slowly. "I'm surprised that you're not calling us crazy." George said Mary giggled a little. "Why would I call you guys crazy? Who am I to say what's real and what isn't. Or what's sane and insane. Besides this world is strange after all." Mary answered, her words were indeed true. Mary's eyes scanned the room and one picture in particular caught her attention. She walked towards the picture and picked it up. It was a beautiful grand castle, Mary has never seen it in pictures before. Ron, Ginny, Fred, George, Harry, and Hermione were in the picture. "Hey guys were did you take this picture?" She asked as she showed them the picture. Their eyes went wide obviously shocked. "You can see that castle?" Harry asked Mary nodded her head. "Yeah why do you ask?" there was some slight confusion in the brunette's voice. "Muggles can't normally see that castle." Fred answered. "Why?" Mary asked. "It's a school for Wizards and Witches and well muggles don't see it as a castle. Due to an enchantment which is a shield around the school muggles see it as an ancient ground or should I say ruins." Mary pondered as to why other muggles can not see it. But then again Mary remembered what Hermione has told her. "Well I may not be able to remember most of my memories but I know damn well my parents or I aren't magical. My mother is not a witch and my father is not a wizard. So how the bloody hell can I see that school."
"That school is called Hogwarts." Ron informed her. "Okay then how can I see Hogwarts." No one answered they all just stood there thinking. Mary sighed "I'm going back to bed." she said aggravatedly and went upstairs. She layed down in the unfamiliar bed that she woke up to and closed her eyes.
