I grabbed Kelly's hand and ran down the hallway. The power from our dads started to get stronger in the castle. Everyone evacuated outside, but me and Kelly were not able to get outside. They sent the castle into lock down before everyone escaped. I ran into the nearest door, I started to barricade the doors in a panic. The room looked like a small storage room. You could still hear the parents fight tho.
" agh this sucks, I'm sorry Kelly"
I waited for a response but I didn't get any. I looked around and couldn't see her, that's when I heard crying. I followed the sound and found her in a corner surrounded by boxes. "Hey hey, it's gonna be alright" I said that even though I know nothing's gonna be just alright. She looked up at me with tears falling off her cheeks. " I know everything isn't fine, you don't have to comfort me" she said with a sarcastic but soft voice. I crouched down in front of her, meeting her gaze. As she looked into my eyes, I started to move her hair from her left eye. She always covered that eye and i can see why now, there appeared a diamond-star like mark under her eye. It was pretty.
"It's a curse mark, to keep my powers locked away" she said
"Oh was i starring, I'm sorry its pretty"
She started to blush. I didn't know she could do such a thing. Her emotions were always so blank towards me. It was cute to see her blush. I didn't realize but my hand was still on her cheek. I started to lean in closer, knowing damn well I shouldn't be doing this. This was "file" behavior if anyone saw. Honestly I didn't care anymore. Without hesitation she leaned in as well, We finally kissed. I can't believe it, does that mean she likes me.
"Sean...."
