Epilogue

Epilogue- (A Couple Months Later)-

"What are you doing?!"

"What do you mean, what am I doing? I'm saving your ass!"

Yujin only sighs at her boyfriend, "You're supposed to be helping the team, Jungkook, not me!"

The couple are currently engrossed in an intense round of Overwatch at the arcade.

"But, I'm supposed to help damsels in distress" he gives Yujin a flirty wink, to which she rolls her eyes at.

The two quickly finish up their gaming session and head outside, hands interlaced.

Jungkook playfully swings their arms high, like a child would do.

"Dumpling, wanna get some lunch? My treat" He grins.

"Sure, but I'll pay. What do you wanna eat?" Yujin holds his hand a bit tighter.

He pretends to think for a moment, as does Yujin.

"Tteokbokki!" They both shout out at the same time before smiling like idiots.

She starts to walk ahead, dragging Jungkook along,"I told you from the beginning that we would be a good match"

"Yeah, right! We hated each other!" He scoffs and playfully rolls his eyes.

"Kook, you can't blame me. You gotta admit, you were- no, you are annoying as hell"

Jungkook smirks, "You can't blame me either though. You were as cold as Elsa herself"

"Fine, it was both our faults"

"A little more yours than mine"

"Yah! You're the one who kept messing with me, I made it obvious I wanted to be alone!"

"That was the whole point, Choi Yujin"

"Whatever"

"I've been dating you for months, but I can still never understand how your appetite can be so big" Jungkook stares in wonder.

Yujin only innocently looks up at him, with full cheeks and smiles a bit.

As much as she hated it, everytime Jungkook mentioned their relationship status, it sent butterflies in her stomach. Every single time.

He reaches over and wipes some sauce from his soulmate's lips before leaning back and eating it off his thumb.

Jungkook only stares at his girlfriend with admiration and pure love before standing up, "I have to use the restroom, be right back"

After Yujin finishes her food, Jungkook is still not back from his bathroom break.

"Excuse me ma'am, could I have the bill?" she asks the nearby waitress.

"The gentleman over there already paid" She points over to the door and sure enough, Jungkook is leaning against the wall at the exit, widening his eyes as he sees his soulmate's nasty glare.

He spins around, exiting the restaurant, only to be turned around to see an angry girlfriend.

"Kook, I said I was going to pay! You already paid for the arcade, so-"

"I wanted to pay Yujin. You deserve to be treated like a princess" he says so genuinely, reaching over to pinch her cheek.

Unable to say anything to that, she tries not to smile but fails miserably.

A couple weeks after everything, Yujin's father was reported and sent to jail with the help of Jungkook and his family. He was convicted of being a rapist and molester and sentenced to 95 years in prison.

At first, Yujin struggled with the news, as it was public and she was asked to go to court. And with her history of bullying and judgemental stares in her social life, that itself gave her extreme anxiety.

"You don't have to go, Yujin- no, you shouldn't go, I can go in your place, since I'm a second hand witness, but please don't go-" is what Jungkook said.

Since then, Yujin knew she fell hard for her soulmate. Who wouldn't?

"Can we go to your place now? Hello?" Jungkook waved a hand in front of his soulmate to snap her out of her memories.

Yujin only scoffs, "Why?"

"Because I just wanna watch a movie and cuddle with you~"

That's the other thing Yujin learned from dating him. Jungkook was a huge teddy bear, always coming with open arms and a big smile.

But Jungkook also learned more and more from Yujin. Like the fact that she acts like she hates physical affection, but secretly loves when she's cuddled and treated right.

And so the two soulmates walked hand in hand together, knowing that it would stay like this for a very, very long time.

wow. it's the epilogue. Honestly, I had so much fun writing this story, more than all my other ones. i'm not one for cheesy endings, but thank you all so much for reading, it means so much to me. Especially those of you who vote and comment, you know who you are ;)
