Echoes of Metamorphosis

Chapter 7

After leaving Quinn's house when she had finally fallen asleep, I got back to the HQ and changed clothes and put my binder on as I took it off during training yesterday. I went to find Charlie so she could teach me some compulsion tricks, I asked around and everyone said that she was in the training room so, I made my way down to the basement and she was indeed there. I went up to her and said, "I'm here for my lesson on how to compel someone." She turned around and replied back saying, "You're awfully eager. As you wish."

As I was listening to and watching what Charlie was saying and demonstrating, I caught onto all the tricks and techniques pretty quickly. Charlie was quite impressed by this. She then said, "You know, you can also compel other vampires once you get good at it." 'Good thing I really want this.' I thought. We had one of the other vampires bring in a human so I could practice on them. Luckily, it wasn't anyone I knew this time. I stood in front of them and looked right into their eyes and said "You are not going to remember anything that has happened here today when you leave so, please take a seat." I finished and watched as the boy repeated what I had said and then grabbed a chair and sat down.

"Oh my god, it worked!" I exclaimed. I then tried something else and they did exactly as I said. "This is amazing! I love being a vampire." It really was cool being a vampire. All those movies had made it look so not cool but now that I have experience with it, it's so awesome!

I then remembered that we still had a human in the room so, I looked over at Charlie and asked, "Hey, what are we gonna do with them?" She looked over at the human and just said, "We should have a drink and then just tell them to leave and forget everything that happened here." I just nodded. We both walked up to them and I looked into their eyes saying, "Don't make a sound, this won't hurt a bit." Then we both took an arm each to take a drink from. After we were done, Charlie told them that they were free to go and to forget about today.
I asked Charlie if that was all for today and she nodded saying to go get some rest. I left the training room and made it to my room. I then remembered that I promised Quinn that I'd be over later today, so I quickly got changed and put on some converse.

As I was nearing the front door, I went up to Raphael and told him that I was off to see my best friend for a few hours, he gave me a thumbs up and continued with his conversation. I texted Quinn saying that I was on my way and that I'd be there in 5 minutes. I zoomed at full speed and arrived at her house. I looked at my phone and saw that it was 9:30pm, so I could only spend a few hours with Quinn for tonight. I looked to see if her bedroom lights were on and they were, signalling that she's there. I climbed up the tree and knocked on her window.
