You never know you love them until they’re dead and gone.

I don’t even think that anyone knew that he was my brother. It’s true I was ashamed of him… he always acted like he was five, even though he’s much older than me. He always used to play with the plushies, the ones you can win at the prize counter…

Now I keep those plushies in my empty room with me.

Shab used to always hide in my room, lurking in the shadows. He was so dark, he basically was a shadow, So I never saw him until he revealed himself to me by screaming ‘BOO!’.  I always used to yell at him when he did this, and he would walk out with his shoulders hunched and with this disappointed look on his face. He might have even cried once or twice, but I never noticed or cared.

I haven’t left this grubby room in weeks. The whole world has faded to gray. I have nothing left, no hope. His life has ended. And It’s all my fault.
