6 - jump coward

(This is more of a fluff chapter :))

I wake up on the floor. I sit up and look at my wrists I see scars starting to form and dried blood around them. I throw on a oversized sweater to cover them.

I grab my bag and head for the front door. I look over to see my stepdad on the couch with a cigarette in one hand and a bottle in the other.

I reach for the door handle but it's locked from the inside out. "Where do you think your going?" He says walking towards me.

"I- I have a exam today I have to get to college." "I don't give a damn about no exam you have girl your not leaving untill I say you can."He says. "B- but..." "But nothing this is MY HOUSE your going to follow MY RULE'S..."

"This is mom's house!" I say back. He kicks me to the floor and punches me in the face. "IS YOUR MOM HERE!?" I scoot back on the floor in attempt to get away from him. "NO."

I go into the bathroom on the first floor and climb out of the window. I run as fast as I can to get away from the house. I hear the front door slam open, "YOU FUCKING BITCH JUST WAIT....."

When I get to college I put my hands on my knees out of breath. I see dream coming up to me. I walk to my first class avoiding him at all costs.

I'm sick of this all he does is watch me get hurt which only hurts me worse. He left me with him with no hesitation. I could have died I will die not like Dream ever gave a fuck regardless.

Once it was time for lunch I got my food and ran up to the roof. I don't want to see him I don't even want to see Drista. All they'll do is pitty me.

I walk up to the railing which is more of a half wall. I look out then onto the pavement below. I start hearing a little voice.

Jump

No.

Jump!

No I won't.

JUMP!!!

I- I can't do it.

Your a fucking coward! Jump it will be best for everyone. No one likes you. Your weak your worthless.

No I'm not. People like me dream does Drista does.

They don't like you. Your only a burden to them. They could care less what happens to you. Dream left you already...JUMP! Make your step father happy for once.

I sit on the railing my legs hanging over the edge looking strait down. Tears start to fall down my face. Jump.

I hear the door to the roof open. "Y/n!!!!" "STOP PLEASE I NEED YOU DON'T LEAVE PLEASE!!" Dream yells. Jump. Jump. Jump.

JUMP NOW! DO IT BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!

I let my body fall. I feel arms grab around my torso pulling me back to the roof. "Why?? Why would you do that you can't leave me I- I don't go don't gooo!" He says hugging me. Tears still coming down my face and now his.

I try getting away. "L- let go let me go I want to leave let me fall let me die l- let go!!" He hugs me tighter. "I won't. I need you!! You can't leave me!" He yells his voice getting raspy half way through the sentence.

"You left me!" "I'm sorry y/n!" "J- just don't leave." He says "Why? You don't care." I say back. "I do care I need you.......I love you y/n I love you so much!" We sit up him still on top of me. I wrap my hands around his neck and kiss him. He puts is hands on my waist pulling me in making the kiss deeper. The kiss was long and passionate.

I pull away and look into his eyes. "I love you too." I say while pecking him on the cheek. "C'mon." He says grabbing by hand and helping me up.

We get in the car and he starts driving. "Where are we going?"I ask curiously. "Somewhere." He says back. "That's very helpful thanks." I say sarcastically.

He moves his hand over to mine and interlocks them. "Where almost there." His phone starts ringing. He answers it. "Where the hell are you?" Drista says on the other end.

"Out." Dream responds. "Your very expressive today dream aren't you." I say quietly. He starts laughing. "What's so funny dream?"His sister says. He looks at me as if he is lost for a second. "Whatever see you later..." Drista says annoyed that dream didn't answer her and hung up.

Dream pulls up into grass. He gets up and opens my door for me taking my hand once again.

We walk out into a field of flowers with a little pond to the side. I look around astonished. "It's so beautiful!" I say smiling. He picks me up into the air. "So are you." He says. My cheeks start getting red.

He puts me down and we lay in the field together. Looking into the sky. "Did you mean it?" I say out of nowhere. We turn our heads so we were facing eachother. "Of course I meant it." He says picking up a flower placing it behind my ear. "I love you." He says.

Tears start coming down my face. "Don't cry beautiful." He says wiping each tear. I hug him burying by head into his chest. "Don't leave." "I don't want to be alone anymore." I say still crying. "I won't leave I'm here I'll stay here no matter what cry, yell I won't leave I promise."

"I don't know who is hurting you but they will never again you hear me never." He kisses my forehead. "Never..."

He sits up holding me still. I look up he stares down at me. He moves in to kiss me. I grab some grass and throw it in his face. He looks up at me disappointed.

"Oh it's on." He says before doing the same. Before I know it we are throwing things from the field at eachother. I pick up a pile of grass and run towards him.

I trip over dropping the grass that was in my hand. He catches me falling back himself and we fall down together.

I open my eyes noticing I was in a straddling position on him. "Oops.." I say nervously. He twirls a piece of my hair. "Stay with me tonight?" He says quickly.

"Sure." I say back. I get off of him and then walk towards the pond. "Beat me to the car if you actually love me." I say starting to run. He runs after me. Then picks me up from behind. "Told you I do." He says bringing me to the car.
