I stirred awake slowly, sunlight streaming in through a small crack in the closed curtain making me whine. I reached out to daddy only to find I was in bed alone. I whined again, a bit louder and cracked my eyes open, looking around for him. I slipped out of bed, looking in the bathroom before noticing hushed voices from downstairs.
I pulled my fuzzy purple blanket around me and grabbed my pink stuffed bunny named Freddie. My blue and white angel paci bobbed in my mouth as I slowly wandered down the stairs. As always I was careful to make sure no one was streaming and luckily no one was. Bad was the one to notice me carefully going down the last few steps.
"Good morning you little muffin!" He said, making the rest of them look at me as well.
"Mornin' Bad" I mumbled quietly around the my paci.
I stumbled over to daddy, him opening his arms and pulling me into his lap. I got comfy and leaned against him, curled into a little ball. He started petting my head gently making me smile and close my eyes.
"Good morning my beautiful boy, did you sleep well?" He asked softly.
"Kept wakin up, tiwed" I whispered.
"You can fall back asleep, it's ok baby" He continued to pet my hair.
"Ni ni" I whispered, nuzzling into his hand.
"Ni ni. I love you"
