Friday the 13th

chapter 2

“Bella wake up.” Looking at my mother who was shaking me I noticed that it was still dark. “We have to show you something so get up and get changed breakfast is down stairs when you’re ready.” She said before leaving me to get ready. Rushing down stairs I was surprised to see the whole family sitting in the lounge room.

“Mum what’s this?” I ask surprised by the amount of people in the room.

“We have to show you something.” Was the only thing she said before I was whisked out of room on my mother’s back was running at impeccable speed she was twisting and turning to miss the trees. Looking around I saw my whole family had joined us and the where joining in on the dance with the trees. We broke through in to a clearing which I had a feeling that I had been here before it all looked familiar.

“We took you here when you were younger.” My father said he must is read my mind this is going to get some getting used to. After mumbling a small ‘I remember’ I was picked up again and this time I was sat the other end of the clearing this time by my uncle Louis before he race back to the rest of the family.

“Bella to day we are going to show you our powers.” My grandfather joseph said “Samuel you go first.” My father stepped forward and he started to glow a green colour, then he started to float in the air then dark clouds surrounded him creating a Minnie tornado. As quick as it started it had finished leaving my gasping in awe. After a while my parents decided that I had seen enough of the vampire world for one day I was picked up and speed back home I was placed in my bed as soon as my head hit the pillow I was asleep. Hearing an ear splitting scream I sat up only to find I wasn’t on my bed I wasn’t on anything I was floating, I was floating in thin air. Turning I saw my mother and father standing in the door way.

“Get me down!” I screamed as I began to panic “Why aren’t you doing anything?”

“Because only you can control it so calm down or you will be staying up there for quite some time.” My father said before he started to sing my lullaby that he had composed when I was younger, just as he expected it calmed me down and before I knew it I was on the ground again.

“I think one of your powers is levitation.” My mother said stating the obvious before she walked over and hugged me to calm me again as I started to hyperventilate.

“You just need to learn how to control it, you will be fine.” My father said trying to help me “I will teach you but you need to do this yourself. My parents left me to get ready I discovered that I could hear everything that was going on in the house I could hear my parents in the kitchen cooking my breakfast, my aunts and uncles where having an argument over who got watch the TV. Hearing something outside of my room I walked over to my window and looked out as I let out a shriek of fear, hearing my scream my parents burst into my room rushing over to the window my father pulled my away towards my bed after making sure I wasn’t hurt my mother began the interview.

“Bella what happened?” she whispered rubbing small circles in to my back.

“T-there was an f-face at the window it was staring at me.” I said my voice cracking in fear. “It was beckoning me to go with it; i-it tried to pull me out of the window.”

“It’s okay we will check it out it was a vampire your uncle Matthew went to check it out.” My grandfather joseph said entering the room before taking my dad out of the room. Within seconds I was violently grabbed and raced out of the room behind me I could hear my family racing to help me.

“Help me….help me!” I screamed as an oddly cold hand suddenly was covering my mouth. Before I could do anything I was flung into the air before I came into contact with the ground I was caught by my kidnapper and he started his escape again. I felt two needle like things entering my neck letting out a tiny scream I felt my body go numb and my vision went black at least I could still hear. Being dropped on the ground I heard my attacker make his escape. Hands started to roam my face and neck checking if I had a pulse.
