Abigail's POV
Taylor. Of course he would show up and try to apologize right before I board my plane.
"Abigail I'm sorry. I was just jealous. Jealous that you have basically chosen everyone of my friends except me. I really really like you." He pleaded.
"It's too late Taylor. This isn't a fairytale. I'm not going to walk out of here so you and I can ride off into the sunset. I'm going home. Goodbye Taylor, thank you for everything." I said quietly before placing a soft kiss on his cheek and turning towards the plane.
I turned around and my heart shattered. Taylor looked crushed and I saw his eyes fill with water. I dried my own eyes and walked onto the plane.
Shawn placed my bag in the over head compartment and lead me to my seat. He called the flight attendant and asked for some tissues and a sprite. He gave me my earbuds and put on a playlist of my favorite songs. I sipped the sprite as he made small circles on my back.
"Thank you." I said softly. "I know this probably doesn't help things but I love you and I missed you."
Did he mean he loved me as more than a friend? I mean we've been best friends forever and he's told me he loves me before but why does this one feel different? Do I like shawn? No that's crazy... right?
"I love you too." I said smiling at him.
"No Abigail I mean I really love you. Always have, always will." He said sincerely. I could sense that he was nervous.
Just as I was about to respond I got a phone call. But not just any call, there was a Barbie ringtone which only meant one person: Matt.
