The fire burned around the world that Blopwobbel once knew. His bedrock home a short distance from where he stood. He couldn't move, he was stuck where Oreli took him down. Blop saw himself being murdered, and all of the memories flooded back into him. Everything Blop wrote in his diary came back to him. He woke up in a cold sweat. His face was wet, he'd been crying. He decided to get up. He lived in an apartment in a large, crowded city. After he'd fallen from the mole world, he landed in a tree in a big city. He sat down at his kitchen table. An unwritten book sat on the table. Blop sighed. A bag sat next to the chair where Blop was sitting. The bag contained notes from Blop's teammates. Blop had recruited Oreli, despite their past interaction, and Smojoe. Blop knew they would speak again soon, but he still fears one man. That man is Wilbur Soot.

Blopwobbel has wanted to take Wilbur down for so long, but hasn't been able to find any trace of him. Until now, Blop found a small city of about ninety-seven people. He made his decision. He called up Oreli and Smojoe and told them to meet him in the forest. They would make the population number one-hundred. Blop set off for the forest, he was afraid. He remembered all the other people in the mole world, all the ones who died. He saw the forest entrance up ahead. "Here goes nothing." Someone said behind him. "Oreli." Blop said. Oreli had changed a lot since Blop had last seen him. Oreli's brunette hair and his purple eyes still looked the same. His clothing was now battle armor, as if Oreli had been preparing for years. "Hey Blop, stop staring." Oreli  said. "Oh, huh. I wasn't staring." Blop said. He was startled but they both knew they had to keep moving. They reached the forest entrance, but they saw Smojoe in a tree. Smojoe didn't change at all. His brown cloak still surrounded his hidden face and his eyes glowed as usual. "Well, I've got the maps you asked for." Smojoe said. "Thanks but I think we have company." Blop said. Sure enough, a few people were looking for things in the bushes and picking apples from trees. "They are some of the citizens." Oreli said. "Wilbur's citizens." Blop whispered.
