I am from a heartbroken family that stands strong through it all
I am from dogs that passed to dogs that live now
I am from pecans on a Saturday afternoon, to mud riding with family on Sunday after church
I am from the comedians that aren’t so funny to the ones that are
I am from Standing in the rain, to standing my ground
I am the softball player that everyone ignores, yet I try so hard to fit in
I am from the back of a horse, to the friendships I carry with those I love
I am from Y’all here? To Ma’s home!
I am from three silly sisters, to knowing they’d do anything for me
I am from animals I miss to ones I will always remember
I am from my love for animals to the love I have for my sister, even if I don’t show it all the time
