Chapter 15

"Are you cheating on Justin?!"

"What! No! Oh my God, why would you think that?"

"There's a hot guy in the house what else am I supposed to think?"

"Is this your sister?" Lee interjected

"Yup," I nodded

"So no funny business?" Roxy questioned

"No!" I shrieked

"Nope, no funny business," Lee confirmed

"Wow, you're almost as hot as Justin," Roxy stared at him and Lee chuckled

"Hey! That's enough," I covered her mouth and she bit my hand

"Ouch!" I yelped in pain while Lee walked over to the both of us

"Are you okay?" he laughed

"Oh, she'll be fine," Roxy waved it off "Let's have a chat," She smiled widely dragging Lee to the sitting room while I glared at him and he shrugged.

I join them in the sitting room listening to the random and few inappropriate questions Roxy asked him. About thirty minutes later Lee excused himself saying he needed to head home.

"So...You're going to work?"

"I don't know yet," He replied walking out of the house and I leaned on the door

"Wait what type of work do you do? Do you work at the grocery store or like a café or something?"

"Anything, I do any work that would bring me enough money to keep up," He shrugged "Bye," he added before jogging away

"Why did he have to miss a whole week of school to work?" I muttered to myself shutting the door.

"He's hot," Roxy stated from behind me and I shuddered

"Your teenage hormones are something else," I sighed

"I'm ordering pizza for dinner," Roxy ignored my comment picking up her phone

"I want a veggie pizza,"

"Are you vegetarian today?" She quirked her brows looking at me

"Just place the order anything but pineapple pizza!" I yelled after her

"Pineapple is great!" She yelled back

"Roxy!" I yelled in a warning tone

"Fineeee,"

The boys have been staying at their lacrosse team table an idea I'm pretty sure Justin came up with to give us 'some space' more like give me some space.

"What's up with you and Justin?" Ana questioned

"Nothing,"

"Why aren't you sitting with him?"

"Coco isn't sitting with Ethan either," I pointed out, if Lee had thought me anything it was how to direct a question to somebody else or something else.

"Coco why aren't you-" Vivi started

"He has some work to do with the lacrosse team," She replied quickly picking up her tray and heading out of the cafeteria.

"Oh well," Ana sighed "Mel doesn't sit with us anymore,"

"Maybe if the both of you apologized for the other day she would come back to the table,"

"We will," Vivi rolled her eyes

"Hi Riona!" a girl walked up to me

"Hi?" I smiled at her

"I want to ask you what type of fundraising event we're going to do,"

"I'll come by after school, gather the student council," I informed her

"Okay," she beamed before leaving with a clipboard in hand and guessed she was the secretary for the student council or something

After school, I meet with the student council smiling and greeting each of them before taking a seat.

"So for the fundraising event, I was thinking we could do a movie night or yard sale?"

"No one would buy anything for the yard sale," A student replied laughing and I laughed along too

"So movie night?"

The girl who came to meet me before spoke up "All in favour say I,"

A lot of I's go around and I smile satisfied.

"All against say, Nay,"

No one spoke and I beamed standing up "That's settled then, you can decide the date, I'll look for a movie, and then we'll print fliers,"

"Okay," She replied before walking away.

Leaving the student council room I walked towards my locker.

"Are you going home with Leon today again or you're coming with me," Vivi questioned startling me

"You almost gave me a heart attack," I stood straighter placing a hand to my chest "I'm going home with Lee today but tomorrow I'm going with you," I smiled at her

"Whatever," She rolled her eyes leaving

After waiting in the school parking lot for a good fifteen minutes, I call Lee.

"Where are you?" I questioned

"Uh...I'll meet you at your house, talk later,"

"Bu-" I stared at the phone screen dumb founded

What the hell was he doing?

I sighed making my way home before a voice stopped me.

"Riona?"

I turned around to see Connor and I gave him a smile

"Hi,"

"Do you need a ride home?" He questioned

"If it's no problem," I smiled

"C'mon, I'll drop you,"

"Thanks," I beamed getting into his car

He dropped me off at home and I bid him goodbye before heading inside.

The sound of pots clattering in the kitchen made me frown and I walked in to the kitchen surprised.

"Mom?"
