Prologue

  I ran as fast as I could, down the corridor and out of my apartment complex.
"GET BACK HERE ELIZABETH!?"
I heard from Inside the house. I ignored and kept running. I went up to my car, unlocking it in toe. I get in and start the car backing out of the parking lot. I drove away fast enough where he couldn't catch up to me. I slowed down a bit on the road and looked down at the baby who's asleep in my arms.
"I'm so sorry tristan, to put you in this mess. But know that I'll love you forever" I whisper and kiss his forehead. I set him down In the car seat next to me carefully, while still keeping my hand on the wheel. I sigh and turn back to the wheel.
"This is our start at a new life, let's embrace it"
