I chose to find Morgan first because she seemed to be the closest to me because I am in Longmont, Co which is just 15 minutes outside Boulder, Co.
Before I leave I find out that my parents are in some sort of coma. So, no worries about parental guidance. It was like that with everybody but me.(and maybe my friends, I will find out soon.)
I just turned sixteen so I have my drivers liscens. But it doesn't matter since all the police are out cold!
I head out to the highway and drive to Fort Morgan.
When I arrive I find Morgan tied to a tree and she's wide awake!(thank goodness!)
I know it's her because I can see her dark brown hair blowing In the wind and her round, deep brown eyes are staring right at me, like she is trying to warn me about something. And her mouth is duck taped shut.
As if on cue the ugliest creature I have ever seen appears behind the tree where Morgan is tied up!
He studies me for a while, but when he speaks it totally blows me away! Literally! He was ten yards away but he still blew me off my feet and I land ten yards from where I just was standing! I had a feeling he was something dangerous, but not that dangerous!
He told me, "Come within ten yards of her and she's dead!"
That made me think. How was I supposed to get close to Morgan if this guy said he would kill her if I got within ten yards of her? I had no idea! But then I got a idea I read somewhere that this happened every once in a while and the cause were demons!
Of course! And it also said to trick the demons you had to find out their secret name somehow, but how?
I don't know!
As if reading my mind he says, "You will never find out my secret name and keep your little friend alive!"
