As I lay with no heartbeat, and my body completely still, my mind is still racing. I try to move my body but can't . I hear his screams as he pounds my chest hoping for my heart to start back up again. My hair is soaked with blood and tears from the day previous.
His screams become louder and I hear him cry, which he rarley does. I knew he cared but in this moment as I lay helpless I feel terrible. I can't reach out and hug him. He breathes his air into my lungs and pushes on my chest even more.
"Please baby please. I need you, I cant do this without you. Please..."
My thoughts become blurry as I feel myself take a tight short breath. My eyes fly open and I see his forehead and his eyes open.
"Oh my, baby, thank gosh. " He cupped my face with his hands and I take some more air in.
I sit up and feel light headed but I don't care. I look into his eyes as his hand is around my neck. "Thank you."
He pulls me in and hugs me as he lets go he looks me in the eyes, with a look of relief on his face, "I love you."
I lean in and kiss him and he does the same, he deepens the kiss and I pull back "I love you even more."
He smiles "No no. You dont know how much love I have for you." I've never seen his facial expression so soft. He has been crying and still has tears in his eyes.
I wipe his hair out of his eyes, "We've got a lot of time to find out how much. " He pulls me up and hugs me.
I kiss is bloodstained cheek and he smiles wiping the tears from my eyes.
