Celeste woke from her deep slumber and daze. She yawned, stretched her arms up on the air, and rubbed her eyes. She opened her misty grey eyes to see herself laying on a plain white bed. She looked around in search of an opening to escape.
I need to leave!
No stay here, Titania! You can't leave! It will slaughter you! If you escape this forcefield than we're dammed! I'll take control of our body if you don't listen to my reasonings! The voice yelled, Cassie.
You're not my mother, Cassie! I won't take orders from you! You're just in my mind, you don't exist! Celeste barked.
You leave me no choice. . .
Celeste felt strong, her confidence boost up, and she was in total control. She wanted to move but couldn't, she felt like someone to over her body. She wasn't her own person but another person, if that makes sense to her. "We will stay here until Willow or Gabriel come to check on us." A strong voice said, it was her voice. Celeste didn't wanted to say that but something else.
How are you even doing this? She asked her own self.
"Like I said. I'll take control if you don't lite to me. I'll take over until you agree with me, Titania." Cassie said. "Besides, I feel more alive than ever in centuries. I've been stuck in that prison for such a long time. I'm my own person. No. I'm you. The real you, to be exact."
I won't let you take over my body, you monster!
"I'm offensed by your words, Titania. But you'll have to do a lot more to take over. And no, it's not your body. It's our body. We are the same person, but different kind."
I don't understand and I don't care. Ever. Now let me take my body back!
"No can do."
Fine! Let's see who wins.
Cassie, was feeling weaker, she felt as if a bullet shot her in the heart. She felt coming back to her cell and staying there until the moment comes. Celeste was taking over. She was closing her eyes tightly, thinking of coming back to her body and not her mind. She was manipulating her own mind and herself to win over Cassie. She felt a dark aura coming from her inner self. Without realizing it, she was already back to her normal state, fresh flesh and blood, moving arms and legs, and good eyesight. She was now in control.
Bitch. . . Cassie cursed.
"I don't care what you say to me, Cassie. I don't care if you're me, but your words won't bring me down. And it will never happen again." Celeste said with confidence. Even though she felt much braver when Cassie's in control, she was still courageous with a heart of gold, but she did still felt dazed and dizzy. She pulled the door, and fortunately, it was unlocked. She was walking on the corridor and heard voices coming from the living room, she hid behind a wall, where nobody can see her and eavesdropped on them.
"Didn't all the Butterflies died on that night? If so, then how did Butterfly Titania survived the attack from it?" A high-pitched voice said, Willow.
"Agreed. I don't quite understand this. But we don't know if they died or not. We just assumed they were deceased. We have no evedince of that night. If Butterfly Titania is alive, then the rest must be alive aswell. But where? Where are they settled?" A feminine voice said.
"Surely enough they must be dead by now. They've been missing for almost three centuries, and we have nothing, no clues or plans to search, Diana." A masculine voice said, Gabriel.
"But we need to. Butterflies live longer than original Fey, so the couldn't age. What did you think? You thought that Butterflies will age and die old? Sorry to brake this to you, Brother, but you are wrong there." The mysterious voice said. "Butterflies are important to all of us. The Higher Courts, all Feys, and even me. Without them, we are lost. We are nothing, we just fight and battle all the time we see each other. Even the Courts don't get along. They made a new rule without my authorization. I'm their queen, queen of all Feys. I make the rules. . . But. . . I'm getting weaker by each day. By then, my throne will be taken from my grasp and the Courts will take over. They'll fight for the throne until the last surviving Court lives. They just don't want to listen."
"Don't worry, Queen Diana. We'll help you take the throne back. We'll find all the Butterflies and join forces with them, they'll be on our side for sure. We already found one so we need three more to go." Willow supported. "Thank you, Nymph. And please, call me Morgan or Morgana if you'd like. I won't mind at all." The Fey Queen said. "Morgan?" Celeste said out loud. The not-human beings perked up and looked at the wall where Celeste was hiding. She came out and saw them with a shock expression with fear. "All of you. . . Are crazy. That language isn't normal. What exactly are you? " she timidly asked, tears were now forming on both her eyes. "I didn't expect you to wake up so suddenly, Celeste. . . I'm sorry. . . I'm sorry that I lied to you. . ." Morgan said, her head was tilting down in ashame. She felt guilty of lying to her friend this whole entire time. "All of you are crazy! Just go away! I'm getting insane! I'm losing my sanity because of you people!" Celeste yelled, both her hands were clenched and tears started streaming down on her face."Look, I'm sorry. . . Okay?. . . I'm sorry of lying to you. . . But you need to know the truth of why I've been so protective of you. But for now. . . Rest and stay here where it's safe. . ." Morgan said. Celeste felt her eyelids heavy and fell into a deep sleep while she was still standing up.
