Ofri X Xiao the God's of Ofria

The Goddess and her beloved Guardian

In the distance as Ofri the new ruler of Ofria announces her presence, the people bow down before her and say out loud:

"ALL HAIL THE GREAT OFRI!"

As Ofri stands up from her throne she takes a second to look at her people before announcing:

"From this day onwards you will all serve me for this purpose."

She pulls out her scroll and continues her speech:

"We all shall work to fuel our ambitions of this nation, too little time have the dictators of this nation been actually putting into this sacred land because of their greed and hunger for wealth, this nonsense shall end here!"

The people cheer on her proposals and scream in unison:

"YOUR WISH IS OUR COMMAND GODDESS OFRI!"

Ofri smiles as she watches her people scream out in unison. They scream these words so passionately as if the goddesses beauty was enough of a reason to follow her every command.

"Excellent! Excellent! Then let's make haste there's no time to lose."

Goddess Ofri waves to her fellow people and sits back on her throne. Xiao one of her royal guards and a trusted ally then asks:

"Excuse me your Highness but are you sure this will be the best course of action? The people will have nothing to live for if they follow these orders."

Ofri laughed and paused for a second before answering:

"These people have been living under corrupt dictators and politicians for centuries, now that I have gotten rid of them there will be no one to interfere with my ambitions. But don't you worry Xiao I have everything planned out."

"Okay I will trust your judgment but I still don't think this is a good idea."

Xiao replies with an annoyed expression.

"Look Xiao I'm only putting your pessimistic outlooks asside because you're pretty much irreplaceable your skill level far exceeds that of my most of my guards."

"I appreciate your humble words your Highness, but I must know my limits as well I'm your royal guard after all."

"Mhm as you should!" Ofri replies with a smirk.

Soon after the ceremony ends and the newly crowned queen Ofri begins to apply her rules on the nation and everyone is working in peace something that couldn't even be achieved by their last dynasty.

"Miss Ofri your speech has most certainly touched the hearts of everyone in the crowd today you've really outdone yourself." Said Xiao.

"Thank you Xiao your words really mean a lot to me!" Ofri replied.

As they both walked to her Majesties residence Ofri couldn't help but notice Xiao was acting more reserved than usual.

"Xiao? Is something the matter?"

"W-what oh my apologies your highness I was just lost in my thoughts for a while."

"Are you still reminiscing about your past cause you don't have to anymore."

Xiao looked at Ofri for a bit before gazing away from her.

"No I have to come clean here to you Ofri the truth is... It's that."

Xiao has a hard time deciding whether to go ahead and say what he wanted to say.

"Don't worry Xiao you can tell me anything, you know I won't tell anyone about your past or anything else for that matter we're like the closest of friends."
