I woke up feeling kissing on my neck. I moved which caused the lips to me removed from my neck. I looked to see Amari's face from the light being provided by the TV. I tried to get out of my bed but he grabbed me, got between my legs and pinned me down. I tried to break out of his grip but was of course unsuccessful. He put his hand down my pants, shoving a finger in me. I cried out in pain.

"Shut up" he covered my mouth. I tried to scream but his hand over my mouth muffled my screams. He pumped his finger in and out as the pain grew worse and worse. I started to cry. I started hitting him with the strength that I had left. His grip on my neck grew tighter. I scratched his face which caused him to let go. He had sent a blow to my face out of anger before leaving my room. I limped over to my door and locked it. I went back over to my bed and cried. I ended up crying myself to sleep.

I woke up and just wanted to leave this house but Zae would wanna know why I wanna leave. I'm just not gonna say anything. I stayed in my room, knowing I would see Amari somewhere in the house. There was a knock on my door followed by a familiar voice.

"Liyah" Zae called to me. I got up and opened my door.

"Why you got the door locke- what happened?" He expressed his concern.

"What?" I questioned oblivious

"What happened to you?" He asked

"What?" I repeated

"You got a bruise right here and you got a mark on yo neck" he says. I went to the mirror to look. I had a bruise below my left eye and a mark around my neck. It took my back to last night when Amari came in my room. The bruises were from him.

"I don't know" I lied. He looked at me that a 'why you lyin ' look.

"I don't know" I said laughing cuz the face he was making made me laugh

"Ight well I want you to come out and eat" he says. My heart dropped.

"I don't want to" I said

"You've been here all day. You need to eat Jah'liyah" he said

"I don't-" he cut me off

" Are you not hungry or do you just not wanna come out your room?" He questioned

"I am hungry" I answered

"Then come eat" he says. I sighed as I walked out the room and into the kitchen with him. I ate a sandwich with some chips since it wasn't morning anymore and it wasn't breakfast time. As I was eating Amari came in the kitchen and my heart started racing as I refused to look at him. I finished my food in a hurry,trying to get away from him before he could do anything to me. I rushed up to my room, closing and locking the door.

I had just got out the shower when I heard knocking and a voice demanding me to open it. It was Amari. Zae and his girlfriend went on a date earlier so they aren't home. Just me and Amari.

"Open the fuckin door" he demanded as he banged on the door harder. I could hear the door about to give in and once he got in I can only imagine what he was gonna do. I got a spare backpack that was in my closet and stuffed some clothes in there. I zipped it out and left through my window..............
