Hi, Im stella grant. I am seventeen years old and I was born with Cystic Fibrosis. Its kinda hard for me cus im always in and out of the hospital. Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited disorder wich is where CF causes thick mucus that clogs certain organs like your lungs, intestans, and pancreas. This dissorder can cause poor groth meaning you dont live as long as everyone eles and only live to your around your mid 40s and sometimes before that. Cystic Fibrosis can also cause infections, breathing problems, and chronic lung disease. But enough about that, my best friends are going on vacation and I was going until I had to stay here in the hospital. I was helping them pick out there swimming suits because they were here to visit before they leave.
"Oh his ones perfect for you Mya,I mean even if its a one piece it's cute ". I said holding up a pink one piece.
We looked threw the options a dosen more times and we came acrossed a bright cyan two pice.
" this one's cute". We all looked at it for a while.
"Camila you should were it". I requested.
"Mabey! what about the yellow and indigo one". camila questioned.
"Oh ya. You mean the one with a hole right in the middel of the boobs".
I said as we all laught knowing it was still cute
"So we have two choices for you". I pointed to camila.
"And one for you so far". I said looking back at mya.
"You should really were that one". camila and I both suggested. It looks so cute on you".
"Ya Im diffenetly wereing this one". she answerd as we all smiled
"I gusse ill were the cyan one than!" Camila added
But then we knew it was time for them to getting heading out so we all went in for a big hug and said bye.
"Love you guys!"
"We love you stella."
I told them I hope they have fun while im here at the hospital constantly doing my treatments and then then headed on the road. I sat on my bed and reached over to grab my laptop to make a nother youtube video this time just letting them know that I'm back here again but as I was filming, as usual barb comes in with a handful of pufing cups to eat my medicine with.
"Look who it is! It's the beautiful barb!" I said to the camera.
Stella get the camera out of my face. Turn it off you have to take your medicines.
"Well you heard the boss lady brb." I say as I turn off the camera turn to barb and grab pudding.
"What room is poe in I asked."
Poe is my best friend and he has been since I started coming to this hospital.
"He's in room 310." she replied as I was texting poe that I was back at the hospital.
Before I could even set my phone down and grab the medicine barb pulls out a checklist of the things I have to do.
"What would I do without you." I said thankfully.
"You'd die." She said seriously but we both laught.
"There's a new baby upstairs." the other doctor peeked in and said. They know how much I love baby's they tell me everytime.
I finish and barb shut The door and went back to what she was doing. And I turned the camera back on.
"I cleaned up my room and organized my med card pills by bills size by size color by color. you guys know how I am slightly anal and by that I mean practically OCD."
Then after my medcart was all organized I headed upstairs to see the new baby's but as I walked by a room nobody used to stay in I saw a guy and some friends threw the Crack in the door.
I think he saw me cus as I was in the NICU
looking at the baby's he walked in right behind me.
He had also had CF.
Will: I saw you moving in your stuff,it was a lot of it. You ganna be here for a while?
Hello?
Oh,your deaf.
Stella: shouldn't you be setting your room for your guest?
Will: oh so it was you lurking in the hall.
Stella: uh, I don't lurk and..you followed me here.
Will: I wanted to introduce myself
Barb: *walks in* what are you doing up here? six feet at all times you both know the ruels.
Will get back to your room.
Will: there's a name for you. Im will newman. And you are?
Stella: deaf *puts mask back on and turns the other way*
Barb:stella thank you for putting your mask back on.
Will: oh..StElLa..ya need to lighten up, its just life it'll be over before you know it.
