so im walking to class with mina and she was talkin about random shit like how she had to keep her hair short and why her skin was pink instead of brown like mines tho she's black and how some kid was speakin on my name- wait a damn minute

"wait hol up. who what with me?" i asked and she stopped

"oh yea some kids were talkin about how they like u but i told them u was mine" she said playfully

"girl whatever- what the hell" i ask as we walk into the locker space. we saw a kid with black hair bowing to these girls and he got up and turned around to see me then blushed

"i- uh- bye y/n" he said walking past us

"who was that?" i asked mina

"oh that's kirishima" she says and i nod

"and how he know me" i asked

"girl who don't know u" she asked and i shrugged

"jus askin ion know nobody forreal" i tell her and she looked at me in disbelief

"nigga you've been here for 3 years now and u don't know nobody besides me" she asked

"naw i mean a few people have came up to me like "omg ur skin is so like totally pretty can we get a pic with you"" i explain in a white girls voice and mina nods

"and then there was some racist hoes who got drop kicked in they neck. like u see hiro kageyama over there? he tried to call me a porch monkey and when i blinked my foot was up his ass and around the corner. i only know his name bcuz when we was in the office the principal said his whole name" i say and she stays laughing

"is that why he can't sit" she asked

"hell yea" i tell her and we walk to class

once school was over we saw some kid getting bullied and mina went over to help him. i just stood there waiting for her bcuz that ain't have nun to do wit me and that's when i saw kirishima again with some people. he saw me too and one of his friends pushed him slightly and he waved towards me. i waved back confused as hell and he started walking towards me but mina came up to me

"so u comin to my house?" she asked

"yea cmon" i tell her and we walk to her house

kirishima's pov
after my "encounter" with y/n earlier i wanted to actually try to talk to her better but i always get shy around her

"so to sum it up you wanna talk to her because she's popular" (we gon call these niggas 1&2 fym) 1 asked and i shook my head

"no she just seems nice to hang around plus shes a lot different from other people" i explain

"what do you mean by that" 2 asked

"well she stays in her own lane i mean she doesn't even know how popular she is" i tell them but right at the wrong time y/n was at the end of the alleyway. she looked over at me and i looked back at her. 2 pushed me a little signaling me to wave and go up to her

so that's exactly what i did. i waved and to my surprise she waved back at me and i started to walk towards her but mina walked up to her first so i just went back to 1&2

"i think you should talk to kirishima" mina says out of nowhere and i look at her

"ion even know him so why would i do that" i asked and she rolled her eyes

"bitch u talk to people to get to know them" she says

"no shit but ion know he seems alright" i say as we get to her house

mina and i got to school but today she was acting weird

"aight so today imma hook u and kirishima up" she says

"girl at least let me get to know the nigga" i tell her as we sit down then class starts

once class was finally over we went to lunch. mina and i found a place to sit and like always people tried to sit by us but mina wasn't with it so it was just us until kirishima came over

"hey can i sit here" he asked

"no- oh wait kirishima yea u can sit here" she says and i look at her thru the corner of my eye

"what's with the sudden change? if i'm not mistaken i would suspect that you like kirishima?" i asked and they both choke on their food

"bitch don't play" she says and i laugh a little

"well hi i'm eijiro kirishima" he says with his hand out

"i'm sorry for her she's normally mean to people without trying to be. i'm mina ashido" mina says and they shakes hands. we all talk during lunch and shit but that's when "that question" came up

"so y/n what's your quirk" kirishima asked

"for someone who knows my name it's weird u don't know my quirks" i say and he looks confused

"but we can't-"

"naw i'm just playin. i know we can't use our quirks but mines is elements what's yours?" i say cutting him off

"it hardening" he says and i choke on air and he comes over to pat my back

"are you ok?" he asked

"yea i'm good but explain ur quirk for me please" i ask and he explains that he can harden any part of his body😏

"oh i see now......that's nice" i say and he smiles but then i realized that mina didn't laugh this whole time so i looked over and saw she was gon and left a note

i hope u find this before he do but imma let y'all hang. he's really into u and bitch don't be mad that i left you, just be happy in the future at y'all wedding

"it's nothing so what school are you going to?" i asked him

"oh. well thanks y/n" he says and the bell rings signaling for us to leave

"so are we friends?" he asked as we walked back to class

"no- at least not yet" i tell him and he smiles and nods
