Suspicion

Sarah stood over her bed looking into her suitcase wondering what to pack. She knew she was going to her bestie's house for one day, but she couldn't decide what to wear. "I think I'll just wear this super cute puppy hoodie, these shorts are cute to. Finally I found my outfit after a year of searching." Sarah threw the clothes in her bag and left her room. "Sarah make sure you are home tomorrow by 3, it's very important you get here." Sarah rolled her eyes as she passed her mom and dad and slammed the door.
"I really wish she wasn't so angry. I know we canceled her party, but it was for a good reason. Right Patrick?" Patrick just sat quietly, he knew it was wrong to cancel her party, but if they didn't the consequences would be way more agonizing, than a mad daughter. "Jessica, you know why we had to do it. Just don't beat yourself up over it. It's too late now, and it's better we canceled it. Who knows what would have happened if we didn't. She may not have been able to be angry at all, so let's drop this right now! She won't be mad forever, she loves us and will be able to forgive us after we explain why." Patrick got up and stormed to his room, furious that Jessica brought up such a thing. Jessica just sat there on the couch softly tearing up, she felt really guilty. But she knew there was nothing she could do, which made it worse.
So on the other side of things, Sarah was in a really good mood, despite her rolling eyes and door slamming. She walk gracefully down the block to Chelsea's house, but half way there this car caught her eye. A midnight black 2015 Lexus IS 250. Now you may wonder "why of all cars that have passed her, this particular car caught her eye?, well I may have an answer. You see, she lives in a very small town in Texas. Fredericksburg.
