Hey guys! Welcome to the first chapter/ story of The Chronicles of Misha and Fae. The picture used for this chapter is not mine, I found it on google, and just a fair warning the wolves pictured don't look exactly how Misha and Fae do. Wolf!verses Descriptions of Characters:
Misha: huge black wolf, seriously think like giant wolves in this verse and Misha is possibly the biggest. Is all black and has icy blue ice and scars on his back and sides from past fights. Is an alpha and is mated to Fae, so obviously very protective of her.
Fae: very small in consideration of the size of all the other wolves. In real life she would be the size of a large wolf and Misha would be about the size of a horse. Fae is all red (this is a fantasy universe and so of course it's like fire engine fucking red) with blue eyes. Is Luna of the pack and loves everyone, but especially Misha, as he is her mate.Misha happily watched as his mate slept peacefully against him in the warm summer rays. He smiled at the little female, how he had gotten so lucky as to be mated to the wonderful female he would never know. She brought out the best in him, well most of the time anyways (other males sometimes tried to get a little too close to his little mate and when that happened, well, let's just say that it doesn't end very prettily), but for whatever reason she still loved and respected him even at his worse (even when she's honest and admits he does scare her at times). Misha is unbelievably grateful for his little mate, for his Fae. Before she entered his life he was nothing, just the big bad wolf with a ton of potential but nothing to do to put the potential to use. He lays his head down over her neck and breathes in her scent. Vanilla, Lavender, honey. But then catches faint whiffs of the scents of three more wolves. The big black wolf smiles again and wriggles in excitement, he still can't believe that his mate is actually pregnant, that he is actually going to get to be a father. Although he is excited, Misha is also very nervous. His father wasn't really much of one, Misha was only alive because his father, an alpha of the Dark Shadow pack, had raped his mother when she had barely come out of adolescents and so he wasn't ever in Misha's life. And the only fatherly figure Misha had ever had was a rouge wolf by the name of Belias who had been the ring leader of an anti-pack movement. Belias had been evil, he used his power over other wolves to try and destroy the packs, and by doing this had almost murdered Fae, an unforgivable task that ended in Belias' demise at the paws of Misha, and Fae's father, Forrest. so because of all of this Misha had really no idea of how to be a father. He had shared his worry with Forrest, and thankfully the older wolf, although with a bit of threats which had become common in their talks, had shared some advice to his future successor and somewhat son. The advice wasn't much; just assurances that Misha would be a great father (and if he wasn't Forrest made sure to stress the point that he wold personally castrate him and then kill him) and a little something about just following instincts. Misha hoped beyond hope that Forrest was right. Misha feels the small wolf beneath him squirm a bit, he lifts his head and looks down into the blue eyes that start fluttering open. When Fae fully wakes up, her blue orbs meet Misha's own and she gives him a gentle lick on his muzzle.
"Good afternoon, sleeping beauty." he whispers into her red ear before licking her cheeck. she lets out a small yawn that he finds quite adorable. "Is it really afternoon?" Misha chuckles at his little mate. "Yes, we have been here for quite a while." he says. And it is the truth, they had come to this large clearing to check the area for possible whelping dens and after they had finished the poor pregnant female (who always seemed to be tired these days) had fallen asleep in the warmth of the summer sun. "Why didn't you wake me up when you awoke?" Misha looks adoringly into her eyes. "Because my dear, you were just too lovely sleeping and the way the light hit your fur made you absolutely glow." Fae blushes at his words, feeling their sincerity. "W-well, we should start heading back home, i'm getting hungry, and so are the little ones." She looks down to her swollen belly, where their three pups are growing, with a tender, motherly look in her eyes. Misha stares at her, she truly is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. "Okay then, lets go." Misha stands up, his large body towering over the much smaller female and casting a shadow over her. Fae attempts to follow suite, but carrying three ever growing pups has put a lot of strain on her extremely small frame, and she immediately falls onto her back haunches. Misha looks worriedly down at her. It worried him that she could hardly stand, although the pack healer had assured him that it was normal for small wolves to have some mobility problems while pregnant. Fae looks knowingly up into Misha's eyes. "I really am fine, Misha. Just help me up please." Misha sighs but goes behind her and helps her get her hind legs up. She wobbles a bit from the strain of the extra weight but starts walking back through the woods to the pack's home. Misha follows closely behind her to catch her if she falls, but just quietly shakes his head at the little thing in front of him. Please Review! I want to know what y'all think!
