The next morning, Bakugou wakes up to the sound of music and the smell of cleaning products. He sits up, and looks around and realizes he's definitely not at home. "Where the hell am I?" He asks himself. He shifts his weight and groans a little, his body still sore. Seeing him sit up, Kaori walks over from washing the dishes, drying her hands on her clothes.

"Oh, you're awake! You have any allergies?" She asks. He looks at her, confused. "What? Where the fuck am I? Did you kidnap me, elfy?"

"Pfft- Oh please. You got your ass beat by a bunch of grown ass men and you passed out in an alleyway. I just so happened to be passing by, and you were bleeding and shit. My place was the closest and I definitely didn't feel like going to a hospital. Now, lemme ask again: Are you allergic to anything?" Kaori replies, crossing her arms.

Bakugou sighs and says no, and the girl walks away, grabbing a pill bottle. "Tylenol," She states as she tosses it to him, along with a bottle of water. "For the pain." She clarifies. "You gotta take two." "I know how much I need to take, damnit." He says, watching her walk away for a second. He starts to open the pill bottle when he notices he's wearing a shirt that's not his.

"So, elfy, what happened to my shirt? You add it to your shrine or something?" He asks. "Just because I liked you in middle school doesn't mean I still do, and I've already said this. So don't flatter yourself, pom pom." Kaori throws his shirt at the back of his head, and it falls next to him on the pullout.

He knows, but the fact still somehow comes as a shock to him.

He takes the Tylenol as she continues to speak. "I washed it for you, it was covered in blood. Also, you better return my brother's shirt before he gets mad. I think that's one of his favorites."
"SO WHY'D YOU GIVE IT TO ME?!"
"BECAUSE I WASN'T THINKING ABOUT IT!"

"Wait, he still lives here? Isn't he in university? They should have a dorm system there." Kaori sighs. "They do, he just likes to crash here occasionally. Even then, he's still annoying."
"Ah, it must run in the family." Bakugou replies, earning himself a pillow to the face as Kaori sits down on one of the other couches.

"Oi, that hurt!" Bakugou says, throwing the pillow back at her. "Well maybe you shouldn't have said anything!" She replies, scrunching her nose at him. She takes her phone out and goes to the Starbucks app, ordering her usual breakfast. "Want anything from Starbucks? I don't feel like cooking anything."

As Bakugou begins to answer, the front door opens and Kaori's brother walks in. "Hey Pocky stick, I'm ho- Who's this?"

Kaori scowls. "I told you to stop calling me that. And this is Bakugou, remember? He and I have been friends since middle school."
"Oh right, him. But... just friends, huh? Then why's he here?" Kenzou asks, eyeing the blonde. "And why's he wearing my shirt?"
"He got his ass jumped last night. Four grown ass men."
"Hey, I didn't get jumped, I just..." Bakugou's voice trails off, and Kaori laughs a little at his loss for words.
"Yeah he got beat up pretty bad, so I brought him here and tended to his wounds 'n whatever."

Kenzou walks over, getting a closer look at him. "The hell are you looking at?" Bakugou snaps, and Kaori's brother takes a step back, crossing his arms. "Heh. You couldn't just bring him to a hospital or something?"
"Didn't feel like it. Now, what do you two want from Starbucks?" She asks. Bakugou stands up from the pullout, grabbing his t-shirt.

"Nothing. Where's the restroom?" He asks, wanting to change out of the shirt and leave.
"First door to your left." Kenzou tells him and he nods, walking into the restroom.

"Ken you didn't answer my question. What do y-"
"Do you like him?" He interrupts in a hushed voice.
The question, catching her off guard, causes her face to heat up. "What? N-"
"Oh my god, you do! Your face is super red! Wait- are you embarrassed?"
"Kenzou, I don't like him, the question just... Surprised me. I've gotten over my crush on him a long time ago." She replies, pinching the bridge of her nose.

Yeah... Definitely got over it... Right?

"Mhmm... Okay then. Also, you know what my usual is from Starbucks so you didn't have to ask me."
Kaori sighs and shakes her head.

Bakugou walks out of the restroom and hands Kenzou his shirt. "I'm gonna leave now, my mom is probably gonna kill me. Also, I appreciate the help elfy... Thanks." He adds, and Kaori laughs. "Damn, don't hurt yourself, pom pom. I'll see you Monday." "Yeah whatever, bye." He replies, walking out the front door. Ken locks the door behind him and smirks at his sister, raising an eyebrow.

"Pom pom? Elfy? Are you sure you two are just friends?" He teases.
"Oh my god, Ken. Go fuck yourself."
"Nah, I'm good... Elfy~" he adds, and she glares at him.
"Well if you feel that way, you can buy your own drink and shit." She says, walking away.
"What!? Nooooo I'm sorry." "Nuh uh." "Pleeeeeeease Kaori?" "Not gonna happen." "But I'm broke!" "How do you think I feel? Constantly buying stuff for you. You're in debt, my friend."

Meanwhile, Bakugou gets on the bus, mentally making a note of where her house is. For some reason. While riding, he sees 20 missed calls and 20 corresponding voicemails, all from his mother. "Tch- damn hag blew up my phone." He says to himself and starts to turn off his phone when he gets a new notification: a message from Kaori.

Elfy: Hey blasty, let me know when you get home. Wouldn't want to find you in another alleyway 😋‼️

He chuckles lightly, replying.

Pom Pom: I can do whatever I want. Like ride a roller coaster. At least my height wouldn't be an issue

Elfy: Bruh stfu, you always gotta make it abt my height.

Pom Pom: it's not my fault you're short

Elfy: I'm done with this conversation smh

He smirks and turns his phone off, putting it in his pocket.
