I woke up from the bright sunlight shining across my room. It was early in the morning, about six o'clock. I turned around in my soft satin blanket to look out my window. The beautiful view of the lake in front of our house took my breath away every morning until. . . I got used to my new life as a rich person.
I sat up and remembered. It was Monday. The first day of school after the summer holidays. I smiled because I knew what role I played at my school. For some, I was the little spoiled brat who used Daddy's money to buy a lot of unnecessary designer clothes and jewelry. To the others, I was a goddess to be treated with respect and dignity. And then there were the guys who thought every single one of them had a chance to date me. Fortunately, no. I have a boyfriend. Gavin. He's handsome, smart, and humorous. Everything you want in a boyfriend, right? Yeaaaah. . . we'll see.
I sat with flawless Make-Up and perfectly styled hair at the table and ate delicious low-carb pancakes with blueberrys. Our nanny was cleaning up my dishes in the kitchen when I asked her if she had packed me my coffee for school.
"Of course, dear. You know I would never forget that.", she said in an angelic voice.
"I know! I just wanted to make sure you did..."
I got up and made my way to Dad's office. I wanted to take some money with me for my lunch. I mean, in the dirty school canteen you don't get anything for free - and certainly not specialized low-carb food for my diet. So I pay the chefs an extra 30$ to warm me up the food that our house chef cooks for me every day. Easy, isn't it? With money you can just do anything.
I went back downstairs and took my Louis Vuitton school bag after I called my driver to drive to our gate. I put on my high heels and a coat and opened the front door. A black noble car was already parked in front of the gate.
"Hello, Miss.", said Jeremy, the driver while I was walking towards the car.
He opened the door for me and I told him: "Drive me to school. Please."
"Of course, Miss."
While Jeremy was driving me the way to school, I thought about how all the students could've changed. Some may have had a glow-up, the others may be even uglier. Some may have become smarter, the others may become dumber. Then I thought about me. Did I become hotter? Yes. Yes, definitely. What about smar-
