12. No...

I woke up as Seph shook me awake. I immediately got up, not wanting to fall back asleep. My mind, still sleepy, took a little longer to wake up.
After breakfast, it was a... Relatively normal day. Same things happening. Night 3, Freddy FNAF1 started to activate. I'm pretty sure he had already activated, so it seemed okay if we did the same things. Which were hectic enough thank you. I was sort of bored again, but it was Day/Night 3. It was pretty clear at the beginning after 12am that the A.I had become a bit more aggressive. At 10:24am, we heard something.
"H-hey kids! Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's- Hell Pizzeria! We hope you have a ma- horrible magical stay!" You will never get out. You will love your time here!" It was Freddy. I ran to Fiona, who was in charge of monitor duty.
"Fi! Find Freddy!" I said as she flicked through the cameras. The cameras had become dark, and static had become apparent, no longer sticking to the edges of the screen.
"There!" I said as I saw a pair of white dots watching from the corner of the screen.
"Keep on this camera! Don't do anything else!" I said as everyone else gathered around.
"It's Freddy. How do we get rid of him?" Natalie asked.
"We could just watch him, but we have Springtrap. When Freddy"s at the door, he gonna be there day in, day out." I said as we saw the glaring endoskeleton eyes.
"Or we destroy him" Misty suggested.
"We could burn him, but his endoskeleton may remain. If we can get through the insulating rubber case of his wires, he might however not be functional and more legible to catch fire." I added.
"Too much technical words," Natalie joked.
"Okay, if we could cut a wire in half and somehow get a flame there, he might blow up or catch on fire." I repeated.
"Well, if he blows up, we could die." Olivia said.
"True... Maybe cut a wire and pour water on it?" I tried.
"That didn't work last time." Fiona pointed out.
"Well... Mangles wires might not be cut... If not, fire?" I suggested.
"Okay... But if it doesn't work someone's gonna die." Tara said.
"It's a risk were gonna have to take." Natalie said firmly.
"But who's going?" Stephanie asked. We all looked at Annabeth.
"What?!" She said.
"Sorry..." Natalie said, giving her a hug. We all did.
I turned to the camera.
"If he's on camera he shouldn't move, wear the mangle head if needed, you can do this." I said, hopefully encouragingly.
"Okay..." She said and I watched the monitor. We all did as she exited the door and crept along the short hallway to the main corridor. We couldn't see much on the cameras, so Stephanie went out to look out at the end of the small corridor. Freddy V.3 was staying still as we saw Annabeth enter the camera. She struck a match. Still he didn't move. She placed the match on Freddy. He moved. He grabbed her, making her drop everything. He was being engulfed by flames, and as the flames caught onto his hand, it caught onto her hair. Stephanie came running in, slamming the door behind her. We could only watch as the blazing inferno finally began to lose enough material to feed on. It had scorched the walls, and all that was left was ashes and the final call of
"He- h- hey kids! It's fr-" winding down to a stop. We all just watched the scene as the static cleared. Numb. Throughout all of this mess, another person gone. Left. done for. I walked away and sat down, numb. I felt it was partly my fault because I had actually brought up the idea. Natalie was in tears and so were many others. Call me insensitive, but took up monitor duty. I pushed all my feelings away. NOW IS NOT THE TIME YOU STUPID IDIOT I shouted at myself, keeping myself in check, making sure I didn't feel anything. YER NOTHING SO JUST DO THE JOB. I looked for Springtrap. I wound up the music box, and continued my search. No one was on the maintenance panel, so I checked that too. I pushed my feelings away as I searched the lawn. I pushed them into the furthest away part of my mind as i continued to check closer, a small dash of fear as I couldn't find him, only to be replaced with the guilt, anger and sadness.
But then I saw Springtrap. It's hideous mouth was open, almost as if showing me something. My mind flashed back to yesterday, where they stuffed someone inside Springtrap. I could recognise something through the mangled and broken face. Black hair, a pink shirt... It was my geography teacher. My geography teacher was inside Springtrap. The decaying felt around the robot's mouth had curved upwards into a smile, almost as if laughing at me, almost as if it knew it would win. I could only do one thing; play audio. I played it in the room next to it, leading it further away. BB's face covered the panel. I didn't switch cameras quickly enough. The hallucination came into my face, but my experience managed to keep me from falling over. A bit. I brought myself up and rebooted ventilation.
"Hey, can I help?" Stephanie asked.
"Ok." I said, almost forgetting Annbeth's death. Almost. No more hallucinations occurred after that, but I remembered Springtrap, laughing at us, showing us there was no way out.
I saw my Langauge teacher meet with the hug of Toy Bonnie. I realised the A.I. was only going to get worse. Then I remembered something that made me feel we had no hope left. I looked at the calendar. This Friday, which should be night 5, was Friday 13th. I remembered in FNAF2, night 6 was Friday 13th. If the A.I. on Friday turned into the A.I. of night 6, we might not make it out alive.
