*Sol*
What's going on? "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING WITH MY BEST FRIEND DARNELL?! YOU SO DIRTY!" I heard Nasia yell.
"Look Nasia," Dwight said calmly, like I'm a baby he doesn't want to wake, "we're done. Been done. End of story. As for Sol, I think she just had a panic attack or something." He sounded like he really cared.
"Oh.. What happened and how long ago was it?"
"Umm-she-was-in-the-shower-and-I-was-just-looking-around-and-I-picked-up-this-kiddy-frame-and-Picachu-or-whatever-barked-and-made-me-drop-it-and-Sol-came-in-to-see-what-the-noise-was-about-and-she-saw-the-broken-frame-she-just-had-a-melt-down-or-something-I-swear-I-didnt-mean-too!" He said all in one breath. I, on the other hand, was feeling better but I couldn't get a word out for the life of me, I know they were worried at this point but my mind could not stop having flashbacks and reliving the worst parts, let alone form a sentence.
"Okay she had an anxiety attack, it's happened before and she's just going through the comedown right now so stop panicking because your going to stress her out even more. As for the frame... we'll talk about that in a second, Darnell, along with some other things."
There's like a weird tension between these two that I'm feeling really oblivious of. Anyway, Nasia gave me my meds and a Snicker's bar and tucked me in on the couch and I passed the fuck out. I didn't have a dream but I guess thats good because my mind has fucked me over enough for one day.
*Nasia*
I wonder if Sol was doing this on purpose for some reason. NAH!
I dragged Darnell to the end of the hallway, "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" I said whisper-yelling at this nigga.
"NOTHING! I told you it was an accident," he whisper yelled back, "I dropped a clay frame that looked like a third grade-" I didnt even allow him to finish because I already knew that somewhere in the midst of the nightmare Sol just went through, a little peice of her is gone and never coming back. Accidents happen though, and I'm trying not to make him feel like any more of a peice of shit than he already does because it was never in his itention to fuck shit up, well, as far as Sol's brother goes anyway.
I let out a long sigh, "Darnell, I know that picture and frame prbably looked like an old meaningless decoration but that was one of her most sacred possesions. That guy you saw in the picture, pinky promising with her was her brother, Drew. Sol's dad is a deadbeat and her brother was her everything and then some. Hell, that girl loved him so much he would be the fourth member of the Trinity if it was up to Sol. That frame was her last physical memory of him. No, I'm not saying you're an awful person, all I'm saying is you need to make up for this."
"Ok, I gotchuu," he confirmed, "but I still wanna know how the hell you know Sol to the level of having a key to her house??"
"Me and Sol have been bestfriends for six years. What's your excuse?"
"We're Social Science partners for the rest of the year. This like a study date I guess, sorta." He said it so awkwardly.
I felt myself getting heated but I had to keep my cool, for Sol's sake. "OK cool, whatever, I'm going to leave y'all two to study she'll be up in about thirty minutes. That's enough time for you to clean up this mess and take her to her room. Make sure Pica is caged before you leave." I turned around to leave.
"Wait," he stopped me in my tracks, "thank you Nasia, I know I don't deserve your help but thank you, honestly." I wasn't buying that shit right now. I turned around and kept it moving.
