Wakatoshi wiped his sweat-infested forehead with a towel, resting his hands on his knees. The slightly damp male felt a lanky hand fall onto his back. "You're doing great out there, Toshi! Real sorry they benched me! When the blood stops, I'll be good to go!" A slightly cheerful voice chirped out, forcing Wakatoshi to turn around.

The other male rest his hand on the other's shoulder. "I'm real proud of you!" The slightly shorter spoke. "Ah, uhm- thank you, Satori." The green-haired male smiled half softly, half awkwardly, turning a subtle red.

"Do your best, Waka-chan! We're counting on you, and those strong arms!"

Wakatoshi felt his hands become clammy, and his face heat up. "Ah, yes- thank you." A loud buzzer noise filled the gym. The green-haired male walked onto the court, his facial expression a bit worrisome, unlike his usual blunt game-face.

"Do your best, Waka-Chan!" Rung through his ears. Ushijima shook himself away from his thoughts, spiking the final ball in the game. The blockers blocked the spike, making it ricochet back into Wakatoshi's face. It had gone out of bounds. He wearily stared over at Tendou, who had his mouth agape in astonishment. "That's game, right?" He turned to his teammates.

The entire team was staring at him. "Dude, do you not feel that?" One of them pointed out. "Uhm, feel what?" The green-haired male asked, before seeing a drop of red fall onto the floor of the gymnasium. "Oh." He felt at his nose, looking back at his fingers. The tips of his index and middle finger were slightly coated in blood.

The tallest of the few held his nose, walking off the court.

After the dreadful game finished, Wakatoshi and Tendou walked home together, as they always did. "Toshi." Tendou snapped in front of the other's face rapidly. "Wakatoshi!" The taller blinked, staring at the other. "You keep zoning out on me! Something wrong?"

"No, no. I'm fine. This is my street." Wakatoshi smiled softly at the other. "Ah, okay! I'm still staying over tomorrow?" Tendou asked, tilting his head, quirking a brow. The taller stared at the other's face for a bit, thinking about how animated he was. His facial expressions were always over-exaggerated, and such.

Tendou facepalmed, and took the other's shoulders in his palms, shaking them. "What? Oh, uhm- if you'd like, then yes." He said, smiling softly. "Okay! Bye, Toshi! See you tomorrow!" Tendou chirped, earning a wave from the taller. He couldn't shake the stinging feeling in his chest.
