Thea's POV
It's been a year. Namiss ko 'tong lugar na 'to! Andaming memories!
Lalo na yung Blue moon!
Akala ko ako lang magisa ang pupunta dito para makita ang Blue moon. I was wrong.
Kasama ko yung isang taong sobrang special sakin. Kasi siya yung parating nag cocomfort sakin. Siya yung nagaalaga sakin. Very thoughtful niya. Im very grateful na nakilala ko siya.
"Deep thoughts Baby?" James said.
"Bakit malalim ka ba?" I answered.
"Aba, aba! Marunong nang magpakilig ang baby ko." sabi niya then niyakap ako.
"Syempre! Dapat hindi lang ikaw yung marunong magpakilig. Dapat ako rin." sabi ko then niyakap din sya.
"Thank you Baby. Thank you Thea!" Then he kissed me in the forehead.
"Thank you for what?" I asked.
"Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you kasi ako yung sinama mo para makita natin ang Blue moon."
"Ano ka ba. That's my priority. To love you with all my heart. I trust you because you deserve to. And ako dapat yung nagte-thank you sayo eh. Kasi sinamahan mo ko dito. Sinamahan mo ko para makita ang Blue moon. Saka maraming bagay pa ang dapat kong ipagpasalamat sayo." sabi ko sakanya.
"Hahaha. I love you!" Sabi niya
"I love you more." Sagot ko.
"I love you most" sagot niya ulit.
Paulit ulit?
"I love you forever and a day." Ako.
"Bakit may 'A Day'?" Tanong niya.
"Syempre. May nabasa kasi akong story eh.Sabi dun, kahit na wala yung forever na yan, meron pa ring 'A Day' para mahalin kita. There is always a day for me to love you." paliwanag ko sakanya.
"Ahh. Edi I love you forever and a day, to infinity and beyond, to the moon and back. hahaha."
I leaned my head to his chest. I look up in the sky. Ang ganda ng Blue moon.
"Ang ganda no?" Sabi ko sakanya.
"Parang ikaw." sabi niya.
"Nye. Haha." sabi ko sakanya.
"Promise."
"Okay."
"Baby." tawag niya sakin.
"Hmmm?"
"Pag ba umalis ako malulungkot ka?" Tanong niya. Is he crazy?
"Why are you asking that?"
"Just answer my question baby."
"Ofcourse, I will." sabi ko sakanya.
"Don't be please. I would hate to see you sad."
"Eh bakit ba kasi?"
"I'll be leaving tomorrow. Im going to the U.S." Sabi niya.
"Why?" Kalamado kong tanong.
"My Dad is in coma. He was involved in a car accident. I'll be staying there for a year. Im going to take care of him." Paliwanag niya. I looked in his eyes. He looks so sad.
"Bakit ganun katagal?" I asked.
"I need to take care of him. Baby please." he pleaded.
"Okay.." i said then yunuko nalang ako.
"Dont be sad baby. I'll be back. Im going back for you. Yan oh. Saksi ang Blue moon sa sinasabi ko. I promise you, Ill be back." Then he hugged me so tight.
"I'll miss you." ayun. Naiyak na ko.
"Shhhh. Dont cry na. Tingnan mo oh." sabay turo niya sa buwan.
"Ang ganda ganda niya. At saka never tayong binigo ng blue moon diba?" Dagdag pa niya.
All I can answer is just a nod.
Still, im hugging him so tight.
"Let's promise to each other." sabi niya.
"What?" Tanong ko.
"First is I promise to you that Ill be back after a year. I promise to be yours forever. I promise to love you unconditionally." Sabi niya.
"Ako, I promise to you that I'll be waiting for you no matter what. I promise to be yours too forever. And I promise I'll never get tired of loving you unconditionally." sabi ko sakanya. Then he kissed my forehead.
"Let's go na? Maybe you are tired now?" Tanong niya.
"No. Lets sleep here." sabi ko.
"Seriously? Dito sa buhangin?" Gulat namang tanong niya.
"Yes. Im serious. Ang ganda ganda ng Blue moon eh, tapos aalisan mo lang." sabi ko sakanya.
"If thats what you want." then he hugged me so tight again.
"I love you James. Take care always ha." sabi ko sakanya.
"I love you too Thea ko. Ikaw din. Kakain ka palagi. Haha. Mamimiss kita." sabi niya sakin.
Then ayun. Nakatulog kami sa buhangin.
Kinabukasan hinatid ko siya sa airport.
And ayun yung last na pagkikita namin sa taong ito.
I'll miss him. Tagal tagal ng one year eh. I'll miss my baby,bestbuddy, father, kuya, boyfriend, or whatsoever I call him. I'll miss my boy.
