The couple sat on the balcony after Lisa homecoming they spend their time in her place, a gentle cold breeze rustling the leaves in the trees nearby. They held hands, fingers intertwined, as they gazed out at the setting mon. The cold, moonlight painted the night sky, creating a breathtaking view.
Jennie leaned her head on Lisa's shoulder, and Lisa softly kissed the top of Jennie's head. Their eyes met, and they shared a loving, silent moment, reaffirming the depth of their time together.
"Promise me, we won't be apart for that long ever again," Jennie whispered, her voice filled with longing.
Lisa smiled softly and squeezed Jennie's hand. "The project is a quite challenge, but I'll do my best to come home. I'm right where I belong, with you."
As the moon dipped below the horizon, Lisa and Jennie continued to relish their peaceful togetherness, grateful for the love that had reunited them after days of separation.
Once they were in bed, their arms wrapped around each other, the warm glow of the bedside lamp created an intimate atmosphere.
"You don't know how much I missed you, Jennie," Lisa admitted, her voice filled with love.
Jennie responded, "I missed you too, Lisa. It felt like an eternity."
With a gentle touch, Lisa brushed a strand of hair from Jennie's face. "So, what did you do while I was away?"
Jennie met her eyes, guild suddenly consume her thoughts, the time she spent with V silent her for a moment, but she didn’t want to ruined the night with Lisa.
“I tried to keep myself busy, but nothing felt complete without you." She replied, trying divert her thoughts and chose to enjoy the moment with Lisa.
Lisa's voice was teasing as she said, "Aww, you missed me that much?"
Jennie's nod and smile were endearing. "More than you'll ever know."
After a sweet kiss, Lisa revealed, "I brought you something special from my trip. It's in my bag."
Jennie, now curious, asked, "What is it?"
Lisa retrieved a small gift-wrapped box from her bag and handed it to Jennie.
"Open it and see," she encouraged.
With careful excitement, Jennie unwrapped the gift, revealing a beautiful necklace with a delicate pendant.
"Lisa, it's stunning. Thank you," Jennie said in awe.
Lisa responded with a smile, "It reminded me of you, so I thought you should have it."
Touched and emotional, Jennie whispered, "I'll cherish it always."
As they held each other close, their whispered words of love and devotion filled the room, reaffirming the significance of their shared moments. They both knew that being together was the most precious gift of all.
JENNIE POV.
I was deep into reviewing the Investor Report when a knock on the door pulled my attention away.
"Come in," I called.
"Good morning, Ms. Kim, these are all the documents you requested," my diligent secretary, Joy, informed me as she entered.
"Thank you, Joy. Just put them there, and I'll go through them later."
"Of course, ma'am. Call me if you need anything," she said and left the room.
As I was about to resume my work, there was another knock on the door. My hands were quite full at the moment, and I didn't have time to see who had entered.
