Finally, the school bell rung, signaling the end of the class. The bell shook our protagonist out of her seat, waking her up from her snooze.

"Class is over already?" With strained eyes, she muttered to herself.

"Yes. Yes, it is." Her teacher gave her a cold stare from the front as he scribbled on a piece of paper. "Ms. (L/N), please stay after school. You've just earned yourself a detention."

'YoU JusT EarNeD yOurSelf a DetenTion. Such a drag.'  As she packed her belongings, she made a snide remark.

As she came up to the front with her stuff, the teacher handed her the slip. "Don't even consider skipping this one."

(Y/n) walked out of the classroom, holding back the urge to roll her eyes.

(Y/n) sped past the throngs of students and out the school doors, completely forgetting about the detention she was scheduled to return to.

Her name resonated through the busy corridors from within the building as she breathed in the fresh air.

She cast a glance behind her and saw two security officers and her teacher approaching her. (Y/n) sighed as she reached into her pocket for her headphones and phone.

"I'm not in the mood for this." She grumbled to herself annoyed as she slipped on the headphones and began sprinting down the side walk to escape being caught.

She was already tired of the day after only a few minutes. "Nothing ever happens that is exciting. Every day is the same nonsense! I'm fed up with it!" She yelled to herself as she stood on the sidewalk next to an intoxicated man waiting for the lights to turn green; he stared at her as she yelled, irritating her even more.

"The fuck you looking at?" She inquired, her gaze fixed on his figure. As the lights turned green, he swiftly turned away.

She sighed and apologized, which the guy acknowledged despite his inebriated state.

She let out a tiny laugh as the song on her playlist switched from the Demon Slayer opening to the next song.

The screams thrown her way were muffled by the headphones in her ears as she strolled down the sidewalk when the lights turned green.

She spotted a girl furiously flailing her arms in her direction as she attempted to fix the right earphone, which perplexed her. She turned with a raised brow and her eyes widened. "...Oh.."
