Chapter 12: I Hope You're Always Happy Too

Lee Hi swallowed the lump in her throat when Hanbin still didn't answer. She low down her head again due to embarrassment, therefore she missed his smile that no one else see yet.

"Can you look at me in the eyes?" He commanded in his low voice. Despite of his command she remain her head down. "Miss Lee." He called again in a demanding voice this time, without a choice she lift up her head and looked straight in his eyes. "I'll eat with you."

"Hak!" She hiccuped. Her heart suddenly beats fast. Because it was too sudden, she wasn't prepared. She thought she was rejected. "I'm sorry." She said shifting her gaze away from him.

Hanbin suppressed the smile forming on his lips, that loooked like he's biting his crimson lips, sexily. "Eat now, Miss Lee."

She timidly picked up her spoon again, get a plate and starts to eat. Though Hanbin is eating..he's actually looking at her most of the time rather than eating. At first Lee Hi is eating with hesitations, until she became comfortable eating with him.

"Thank you," She uttered after she's done eating. She gave him a warm smile that makes Hanbin's heart fluttered. But he hides it by being emotionless. "May I tell now the reason why I am here?"

"You've already stated your business Miss Lee. You don't need to repeat it. Let's go." Without saying another word he rose up from his seat and walked towards the door. He waited for Lee Hi before he closed the door and walk just an inch away behind her.

While walking she asked, "Aren't you going to ask why am I looking for this man?"

"You only told me to find the man, therefore, I shouldn't ask why you're looking for that man." He answered casually.

"Point taken." They both fell in silence afterwards. They reached the end of the passage and she saw Libert outside the car waiting for them. Libert bowed his head right away when they reached the car.

"Miss Lee. B.I." He acknowledged both of them. He straighten his back and open the door of the passenger after.

"Thank you, Mr Libert." She uttered upon getting in the car.

The man slightly bowed his head to signify that he heard her.

"Go to the NCCC." He instructed as soon as he get in too.

"Yes, B.I."

Silence were followed. But after few minutes of that deafening silence...Lee Hi spoke. "Aren't you going to ask me why I ask you this favor?"

"Because I am the leader of this entire Province and N City is under the Sun Province." He said coolly as though it's the right and the only answer for her question. Even the side of his lips lifted arrogantly.

"You are correct, though I am not really trying to use your connection..it's just that I don't have a choice, that's my answer...but the main reason is because I trusted you." She looked at him straight in the eyes. He did the same. She can't read what's in his mind because he's always emotionless. She didn't know that her words filled Hanbin's cold heart with warmth.

"You trust me, hmmm." He nodded as if he don't believe her but the truth his heart is jumping like a frog right now.

"You don't believe me?"

"I always believe you, Miss Lee. There's no reason for me to doubt you. Always remember that."

After almost an hour travel the car entered in a secluded place, full of guards and gigantic wired gate. In the middle of the four wired wall is the NCCC. It's just a one floor building but surrounded by CCTVs, high technology gadgets like palm and eye reading scanner plus the armed and skilled guards. If an enemy entered..it's impossible to escape anymore.
