New world

A portal appeared on a strange planet as heimdall stepped out of it and it disappeared behind him, he stood still as he looked at his surrounding trying to find a safe place to leave the child. As he walked through what seemed to be old ruins of a lost world. he noticed something shining in the distance, as he started to get closer to the shining object he noticed it was a large orange and blue space ship sitting upon a part of the ruins from the city. He walked up the the entrance of the ship but did not notice any other life forms around, he looked down at the child as he put he down on the rocks at the entrance to the ship as she started to cry feeling the cold ground press against her back. He stood up at stared at the crying child for a moment in hesitation as he condured a portal back to Asgard, as he walked towards the portal he turned back for a brief moment as he whispered "I'm sorry" before turning back and entering the portal. In a split second he was gone and there was nothing in sight for miles as the sound of the child's cry's echoed through the ruins. After hours of crying the child fell asleep cold and trembling waiting for someone or something to come to her rescue.

"Great now we have the septa can we leave quill and get it to the buyer already" gamora said looking down at quill and rocket trying to gather as many crystals from the cave floor as they could carry, "we will get more units than what those crystal are worth if we could just deliver this septa to the buyer" they could hear the impatience growing in her voice as they both turned to look at her. "That's true but a little bit extra wouldn't hurt right" quill said staring at gamora as he placed one more crystal in his pocked, gamora lent down and grabbed quill by the collar of his shirt and started to drag him towards the entrance of the cave. "Okay okay fine we can go now, come one rocker, drax" he said as he stood up and dusted of his pants and turned to walk out the cave after gamora, "what is the worth of these pathetic crystals you have collected" drax asked rocket as he watched Him stuffed one last handful in his bag before standing up. "More than that useless septa" he said looking up at drax as the two began to laugh catching the attention of one very annoyed gamora, "hurry up you two we can't be late" she paused as she stepped out of the cave and stared at the entrance to their ship that was sitting close by. "Can anyone else see that" she said pointing to the weird sharp sitting at the entrance "that was there when we landed" rocket said and he walked past her with a smirk on his face "no it wasn't" quill said as he grabbed rocked by the back of the neck to stop him in his tracks. "What are you doing, get off me quill" he said as he struggled to get loose of quills grip, "hand me the scope" gamora said holding her hand out to drax as he placed it in her hand. "Well it doesn't look dangerous, one of us should go check to make sure" "I'm on it" quill said he he started to walk forward. "Don't make me laugh you mortal" said drax as him and rocket burst out in laughter, "um hello half mortal half god thank you very much" quill said as he turned around holding his arms out, "just don't die" said gamora with a hint of sarcasm in her voice.

Quill walked slowly towards the ship to see what appeared to be a pile of blankets, with a confused face he got closers as he notices it move "guys I think it's alive" he said speaking into his intercom "what is it the some kind on animal" gamora replied as she tried to get a better look at what is was through the scope. As quill slowly approached the pile and picked it up he noticed it was a small child, "you guys are never going to believe this" he said turning around to look back at the others while holding the child in his arms. "What, what is it" said rocket looking up at gamora who had a worried look on her face, quill looked down at the child "it's a baby" he said as the child wrapped its small hand around his finger "it's what" gamoar said as her and the others started to run towards quill. "Who would just leave a baby out her alone unprotected" he said holding the child out to gamora, she took the child into her arms and the baby slowly opened her eyes and looked up at her face. She pulled the baby close exposing the orange glowing stone in her chest "what is that thing" gamora said looking up at quill for an answer "maybe we can remove it" drax said as he slowly reached out for the gem in the child's chest "I wouldn't touch that drax we don't know what it is" quill said reaching for his hand in an attempt to stop him. Draxs finger gently touched the stone only to release an orange spark that flew in to him pushing him backwards through the causing him to fall down on his back with a loud crack sound. "I told you not to touch it" quill said holding out his hand to drax to help him up, "so then what do we do with the little rat" rocket said moving closer to get a better look at the now crying child "I am groot" said groot bending down over rocket "no we can't keep it are you crazy did you see what that thing just did to drax" rocket said looking up at groot. "Maybe we should keep it" gamora said looking down at the child, rocket turned to look at gamora "did you hear what I just said". "She right rocket I mean what happened if thanos or Ronan get their hands on this child" quill said taking he child back out of her arms, "we can raise her as one of us and train he to use her power" "well I'm not gonna say I told you so when this ends badly" rocket said as him and groot walked on to the ship. "She is strong and will be a great asset to the team when she learns to fight" gamora said as she turned to join the others on the ship. "Well then you welcome to the guardians of the galaxy" quill said as he looked down at the child as he adjusted the blankets surrounding her, as he moved the outer blanked he noticed something fall to the ground and land at his feet. "Are you coming quill" drax yelled standing at the entrance of the ship, "yeah yeah give me a second" he said leaning down to pick up a piece of paper with a gold boarder. As he stood up to inspect the piece of paper which read "to who ever finds this child protect her and the power she holds, raise Y/N and train her to use her power for good, as one day she might be the power to end the universe" quill shoved the letter in his pocket and stared at the stone "Y/N I guess that suites you" he said carrying the child on to the ship as the door closed behind him and the ship took of into the galaxy.
