"Hey can we get this thing started already, we are about to get our ases kicked" quill yelled into the intercom, "hold on hold on just one last piece to fix" you yelled back at him while trying to get the ship engine going "any second now would be great" gamora added as you pushed the last screw into place "okay hit it" you yelled as quill punched the ship in to the jump. "Could you have taken any longer back their" quill said as you entered the pilot room "I'm sorry I had a horrible teacher" you said as you smile and threw your oily gloves onto his lap "I can't believe your such an annoying sister" he responded as he threw the gloves back at you. "Are you to done, we barley escaped with our lives back there" gamora said entering the cabin "I thought it was great fun" drax said as he stood up out of his seat and walked over to you "thank you drax" you said giving him a high five. "Your still such a child" gamora said as she crossed her arms and sat down "well I am related to quill" you said leaning down to pick up groot and sit him on your shoulder, "well I suppose I should go help rocket finish those repairs" you say walking towards the door "oh and quill no more holes in my ship please" you said as the door closed behind you.
"Why have you not told her yet, we agreed when she turned 20 we would tell her what really happened" gamora said as she walked over to quill placing her hand on his shoulder "I can't break it to the kid, it would destroy her and I cant do it" he said as he looked at gamoras hand on his shoulder, "well then I guess you will always have a sister" she said turning back to her seat.

"Okay groot hand me the screw driver with the red handle" you said to groot looking up at him through a grate in the floor, groot walked over to the tool box and came back holding the screw driver. "No groot the red handle that's the yellow handle" you said shaking your head as groot walked back to the tool box and returned holding the right one, "thank you groot" "i am groot" he replied with a smile on his face. "Why do they never let me join the missions I know how to control and use my powers but they always leave me on the ship" you said sitting up and taking the screw driver out of groot hand. "I am groot" you look down at him "I know they are just trying to protect me but I can help them" groot hugged your hand "sometimes I feel like your my only friend" you said as you pick him up and sit him on your shoulder.
You look up to see rocket walking up to you from around the corner "come one kid quill says he needs us in the pilot cabin" you stand up and follow rocket down the hall "good job on those boosters today kid" he said with a smile on his face. "Thanks" you reply looking down at him "I could of been a bit faster tho" you said with a small giggle.

As you two enter the cabin you notice every one staring up at the screen at a strange mans face that you have never met before, you walk over to quill and sit beside him. "I need to call in the favour you own me quill, earth is in danger and we need all the help we can get" the man said as he looked at quill "sure thing tony where do we meet you" quill replied "meet us at the avengers compound as soon as you can" "we will head there straight away" quill said as he started to stand up. The man on the screen turned and look at you "who's the fresh meet we haven't met her before" "that's my sister Y/N" quill said looking back at you "perfect another god to join the team, has she been briefed" he said directing his attention back to quill "no she hasn't but we will fill her in on the way" quill replied "perfect see you soon guardians" he said as the screen turned off. Quill turned to look at the rest of the team with a worried look on his face and he slowly made his way around to look at you "what was all that about, who are the avengers" you asked as you looked around at everyone in the cabin. "They are a group of hero's with special powers like us that protect a planet called earth" gamora said as she sat back down in her chair. You looked up at quill "and what do they need us for" you ask "they need us and our powers to help protect their plant as they once helped us" you looked down at the stone in your chest "do they know about my stone" you asked as you pulled your top up to over it "no they don't and until we know what's going on we should keep it a secret okay" quill said as he crouched down and placed his hand on your knee. "I can protect myself you know I'm better I can control it now" you say as you look at quill, "I know you can, it's just to keep you safe until we know we can trust them" he says as he stands up slowly and heads over to his chair and takes a seat. "Now lets buckle up and go save earth" quill says looking at rocket as he engages the jump boosters.

As the ship traveled through space you looked out the window at the galaxy's passing by as you touched the stone on your chest, for years you have wondered about your childhood and how you ended up with this stone much less what the stone actually is. As you looked around at everyone in the cabin you remember the fond memories of growing up with them as your family and learning how to fight, but the smile on your face slowly fades as you feel a sadness creep over you as if something or someone was always missing but as hard as you try you just can't remember. You slowly close your eyes and start to drift off to sleep remembering all the fun times.
