There is light seeping through my windows, brushing my skin with its warmth.
I know I must remove my self from her shelter before her sun kisses become sun burns.
I prayed silently asking my sweet sun why her love was so conditional.
Why did she shine her glow onto my skin
when we both knew I would burn in the end.
Scorched skin in resemblance to a scorched heart.
The presence of her affection permanently marked on my body, peeling a new layer of my epidermis
Is this what love is like? I question.
Will I continue to burn while you shine and glow?
As my sweet sun I was not the only one who basked in her light, but As the sun she lit the world surrounding.
I cannot stop the sun from shining but I can stop myself from burning.

                        Yet I Choose Not Too

As Earth cannot live or breath without the Suns warmth
Earth Is merely just another planet within the her solar system that has been blessed to feel the gentle caress my sweet sun has to offer.
