【28】- Tumbling

🇷aven watched as he dropped down to the lower floor, his black cloak flapping behind him.

Well, I guess I'm left to do what I want.

Knowing that Ayato can handle Juuzou on his own, Raven decided to wait and watch -- instead of aimlessly running through the halls, hoping to stumble into some Dove for her to kill. Something in her gut told her to wait where she was, knowing someone important will stumble across her path if she waited.

So she did; she watched Juuzou and Ayato battle tirelessly till Big Madam had gotten underground and Juuzou retreated, giving Ayato cue to leave and help Naki outside. Two voices started making sounds below her on the first floor.

As the bodies came into view, Raven narrowed her eyes, seeing Mutsuki with Urie.

Fucking Urie. Of course his arrogant ass would be here as well.

She heard only the echo of their voices as Urie conversed with Mutsuki, finding the trap door in the floor of the stage, and opening it to let themselves pursue downward.

Once Mutsuki was the last to head down the stairs, Raven dropped to the floor and pursued after them also, running down the stairs and through a dark hallway that led out onto a railing that overlooked the vast room below. 

She came upon the two and Juuzou already in the midst of combat. She noticed Big Madame in combat with Urie, but she was on her own against him, and Mutsuki and Juuzou.

I should help her.

More ghouls from Aogiri swarm around Juuzou, distracting him from Big Madame, capturing Raven's attention for a moment. When she focused her attention back on her main target, Urie, however --- he somehow already ended up between her teeth, her mouth accompanying the size of his body. Mutsuki also was there to witness the uncomfortable sight.

Raven nearly froze in her step, watching his body being shoved down her throat inch by inch, surprised Big Madame was capable of doing that. Part of her wanted Big Madame to swallow him whole, but most of her resisted, pushing for justice and bringing on a well-deserved payback. 

Raven wasn't one to sit idly by amidst a fight, but she also needed to pick her timing wisely. It was really one of the main reasons of how she earned her Ghoul name.

She watched from above, as Mutsuki ran forward, eager to help his comrade.

"Leave him alone!" She heard Mutsuki yell, but he was cut short in his hero-charge by Madame's two bodyguards, first kicked around, and then sliced into like he was nothing more than a mere doll -- a small yet gaping, fleshy x cut into his back, as the petite Dove had collapsed onto the tile floor.

Her eyes jumped back to Big Madame as she watched the bigger woman leap onto the wall with Urie in her mouth, and began to crawl away as if she was a spider in human form.

Just before she could announce her presence by intervening with Big Madame, the large woman stopped in her crawling haste for a moment, before her jaw was split open from the inside, with Urie being the cause of it. 

He broke free from the clutches of her teeth, then shoved himself further away from her with a swift kick to Madame's sternum, using it as leverage to push himself away from her.

Raven began to run along the upper railing, her veins filling with the rush of adrenaline and excitement -- eager to announce her presence to Urie personally. She stopped, when she saw Urie rise to his feet.

"Give me more credit... I need more, I deserve more!" She heard him growl from below. 

As he began to ramble on the word more, his ukaku slowly spread out from around his shoulder until it fully formed, and his eyes began to sparkle with a tint of madness. "Give it to me!" He yelled, his body bent at a weird angle, and his one white eye a blank slate.
