When I woke up on Saturday morning, it seemed as if nothing had changed in my life. There was still snow on the ground, there were a few birds chirping, and my finished homework for monday was sitting on my desk.
But then I remembered. I remembered how stupid I felt just sitting there, waiting. All alone.
I'm usually not so vulnerable. If it wasn't him- If I hadn't trusted him so much. I wouldn't feel like this.
Then I decided that today would be about me. No boys for me today. Since it was Saturday, aka my favorite day I could go get my hair done and stuff like that.
Since the hair salon opened at 10 and got packed at around noon.I woke up at my usual time of 8:30, lots of people think im crazy because I wake up so early.
I quickly got dressed and ate cereal, not bothering to put makeup on. I cant drive, unlike ever other 16 year old girl I know. So I had to walk to the bus stop to get a ride into Boston.
Once I got onto the bus there was almost no one on it. There was an elderly lady, A couple who were probably 14 that looked like they were just married, and a tough looking girl who looked about 20 with piercings and tattoos holding an infant.
When I finally got to Boston I walked right into the hair place. Thankfully I decided to wear my red dress so I wasn't out of place with the men in suits and women also in dresses.
While I wait a boy walks in followed by a women. He has a long fringe going down his face and he's pretty damn hot. But he has the same hairstyle as Calum. And Calum is bad. I almost laughed out loud at my stupid antics.
The lady that appears to be his mom walks up to the desk and starts speaking comfortably. I start to wonder how people do this so comfortably when I cant even talk to my best friend without stuttering.
I guess I'm staring because the guy im gonna refer to as hot guy, chuckled and sat down, "so I see my mum is of interest?" I can feel my cheeks heating "um, I was just looking at how well she um, you know talks to her."
I mentally slap myself for admitting that. He keeps his smile on his face even though I just said the stupidest thing, "probably because she's happy im "fixing" my hair"
I smile, trying not to embarrass myself. "I know a few people who actually have the same one" When I finish my sentence his face visibly light up. "Thats so cool! I just moved here so I guess it is cool" He looks proud.
I cannot think of anything to say, I'm kinda socially awkward and I have trouble thinking of so thankfully, they call me for my appointment. "I'll hopefully see you around!" When I say this he smiles and his face is still light up, I take that as a good sign.
Ok so I finally stopped the boring chapters with no Luke and 400 read df? Thank you sooo much and btw the picture if it works is Grace after all her appointments and also Luke is going from his fringe to his quiff in this chapter!!
