Whimsical Nightmare

chapter 1: getting followed

My name is Rilet. I am fourteen years old. One day I was walking home from my school KELSER MIDDLE SCHOOL!! I literally hate that school! Well usually I walk home with somebody but not today. One my boyfriend Avery isnt even there, and he is almost always at school. My friends, Carmen, Aaliyah, Rachel, Jacob, Taylor, and Mckenzie weren't there either. Well while I was walking home I thought I heard a noise behind me. I thought it might just be the wind but it almost seemed like it was following me. So then I thought I should probably just ignore it. But the sound kept getting closer and Closer and CLOSER!!  I started to run for my life! Once I got home I locked the door and stormed into my bedroom. Then I started to call all my friends. None of them answered but one. it was Avery phew! " WHERE WERE YOU!!??!!?!!?! "." What do you mean? ". I mean why were you not at school today? Oh I had a stupid doctors appointment you know those. Oh well all of my other friends weren't there? Well thats wierd maybe you should get some sleep. Ok your probably right. Goodnight Rilet. Goodnight Avery. Then I hung up the phone and went to bed. Maybe it was just a coincidence. The next morning I felt alot better. Everybody was at school. Everything was back to normal. Then I started to wonder if all of that was just a dream? So then I walked up to Avery and asked him if I called him last night? He said I did. Then I thought to myself that maybe it was all real. I asked all my other friends why they weren't at school and they all made this lame excuse like they didn't want to hang out with me. After school was over I walked home with Avery. I told him about the sound I heard and he actually believed me. " This is not the best neighborhood you know " Avery said. I bet you it was just some hooligan trying to mess with you. " You're probably right. " I said. Then we finally got to my house. " Just know that I'm gonna be here for you " Avery said. " thanks" I said. Then I closed the door to my house and he walked away. He always makes me feel better I thought.  Then I decided it might be time to start on homework. I started it very late because my favorite tv show Family Feud was on for like two whole hours. So then i started the next question in my homework. What is the capital of peru? Right before I could answer the phone rang. Hello? Its me! Who is this? I know you and all your secrets! Tell me who you are!??!  Then for the rest of the call it was just really loud breathing sounds. So then I just hung up. Who was that it sounded sort of familliar. Then I realized what time it was. ITS MIDNIGHT!! Let me just get this last question done. The capital of Peru is Lima. Then I hopped into bed. All night I was thinking about that phone call. The next day Taylor came up to me. By the way taylor is a boy. I said to taylor " Wouldn't you rather hang out with your other friends? " He said no. Your actually a pretty fun person to hang out with. " well I actually can't hang out with you today I have other things to do " I said. " Ok whatever " he said and walked away. Then Avery came over and said " How is the most beautiful girl doing today? " " Im actually not doing good " I said. Whats wrong did I do something? No. Its just I got this call yesterday night and they said they knew me and knew all my SECRETS?!?!!?! It was probably some prank call, I get those all the time. Ya I guess it could of been just a prank call. " But you can't let that get you down " he said. Lets go out to eat! " ok " I said. Pick you up at eight. KK. Then school finally ended. Then Avery walked me home as usual. Then I sat on the couch and thought at least going out to eat with my favorite guy will take my mind off of the phone call. Then it was eight o clock and he drove me to the mall by the food court. " Yum" I said. " So where would you like to eat?" He said. Ummm would Pizza Palace be ok? sure. So then we ate our pizza. You know your a really sweet guy. Well thanks your a terrific girl. Thanks and welcome ( both giggling). Then when we were done with our food he sent me home thanks for the food Avery. No problem Rilet. Goodnight. Goodnight. After a long night of homework I thought to myself that my life is perfectly fine the way it is  and their was pretty much no reason for me to be worried. My grades are pretty good. By the way the first semester just ended and I got honor roll! Then that night I got another phone call. IT WAS FROM THE SAME GUY!!  He said Your friends are going to die and the people around you. I got so scared i froze and dropped the phone. Then on the phone I heard a *click* and then it turned off. After he hung up I instantly called Avery. Hello? Rilet? AVERY!!! THEIRS THIS GUY THAT SAID HE WANTED TO KILL THE PEOPLE I KNOW AND THE PEOPLE AROUND...... Then she got interupted by Avery. Shhhhhhhhhh...... Come down everythings going to be just fine. But I don't want you to get hurt! Ok I'm coming over there now! So then Avery drove his car to Rilet's house. She was waiting on the porch and they hugged. Are you ok? Me crying " no! ".  Tell me what all happened. Well the same guy called but he said he would kill the people I know and the people I'm around! Have you told your parents? No they wouldn't understand! Lets get inside. So they went inside in her bedroom. Look at your history on your phone to call the guy back. " ok "  I said trembling. So she called back the number. Its ringing I said. He answered back saying Oh so you came back to talk. Who are you!?!!?! Im *click*. Hey!! He hung up!!!! Well I should probably go home my parents are probably worried about me. We will talk about it tomorrow ok? k. Then they gave each other one last hug before Avery left. Then right when I woke up I didn't feel so good so I stayed home. My parents were on a buisness trip so Avery took the day off of school to take care of me. I hope you feel better enough to go to school tomorrow. me too. Thanks for taking care of me. Its really no problem. Ok I'm gonna go to the store and get you some Ice Cream, you feel hot. Ok bye. bye. About a couple of minutes after Avery left I got a phone call. I was to tired and sick to go pick up the phone. They left a message. It was the guy it said " Ok I should probably kill..... AALIYAH!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I screamed and called her to see if she was still alive. She didn't answer so I decided Avery and I should check on her. Avery came five minutes later with the Ice Cream. Heres your Ice Cream. Not now the guy left a message on the phone saying she was gonna kill Aaliyah! let me here it. So he listened to the message and was shocked. So he drove us to Aaliyah's house. When we got out of the car in the drive way we heard screaming! AALIYAH we both screamed!! We walked in the room and Aaliyah was against a wall in the corner. The guy had a gun in his hand. I tried to block Aaliyah but The guy pushed me away, and thats when I realized the guy was taylor!!!!?!!?! Your probably wondering why I'm doing this. Its because you always ignore me and what if I consider you as a good friend. Well I'm sorry I said. This is what you get!!! Then he shot and fired. The first couple of times he missed but finally he got her right on target! She lay there motionless. Then I created a distraction and called the police. They got Aaliyah to saftey just in time. Then Taylor went to jail with life without patrol. Aaliyah is in a coma but she is still alive. Everything went back to normal except that we can't talk to Aaliyah and we can barely see her. Then the next day my parents came back from their buisness trip and heard all about what happened. " Im sorry sweety " mom said. We got something for you sence we were gone so long. What is it I said in excitement. Its a new puppy!!! Then a little cute puppy came out of this little box. Aren't you gonna name him? His name is going to be Milo. And we played Fetch and other fun games and we still play to this very day!
