Just When I Thought Things Were Perfect

Chapter 3

I woke up late for my first day of school. Bus comes at 7:30 and I woke up at 7:00. I ran to the shower and hopped in quickly. The shower was as cold as a block of ice. Ugh, "ABBI why are you so stupid" my mind screams these words at me when I look down. All I see are scars.. Scars from the past. Scars from when I would be bullied.. Scars from when I would be pushed down the stairs. Everything. Scars. Scars I cut while in the middle of crying in a ball at the corner of my room. What was wrong with me. My grandma walks upstairs and pounds on the door telling me that the bus was coming soon. I didn't really wanna go but I screamed back okay to her. I feel bad for always screaming at her... It wasn't her fault that she was stuck with a brat like me. I know that she loves me to death but damn. I'm a hard nut to crack. I get out of the shower without shaving my legs. Damn. I'm like a wild beast. So I get dressed and put my hair up into a messy bun. But since it's sunny outside I wear a pair of white shorts and a volleyball t-shirt. I go to my room and slip on my short Nike drifit socks and my white and black vans. I grab my tribal print Candies book bag and rush down the stairs just in time to grab a poptart and escape out the door before my grandma tries to take the dreaded "first day of school pictures" I hear a small voice behind me say as I run out the door. "Grandma the bus is right there". She's standing outside with a camera taking multiple pictures. Ugh. Kill me now. I run on the bus and everyone's laughing at me "oh that's the girl who's a freak". "someone trip her". "She doesn't fit in". That's the words everyone is screaming about me.. I find a seat near the middle of the bus which is empty.. As I turn around I see something so horrible... I see
