Dane

Today is the day.

I was elected as the leader of our little town two weeks ago. The last leader, Rafe, didn't uphold our laws. Even if some of the laws were dumb, like how chickens are not allowed to cross the road, they were made to be upheld. The minute that Rafe died, my name was thrown around to become our new leader.

The reason for that was because I was the one who followed our laws thoroughly.

Some people will say that I haven't because I've fucked quite a few females, but they would be wrong. The law specifically states that females are not allowed to have sex until they are married. The reason the females were so eager to have sex was that Rafe never upheld that law. 

That ended now that I was the leader. 

Things are going to get dicey once I reach my destination. That is why I have four of my best followers with me. If things get out of hand, they will help smooth things out.

"Remember, I'm going in to claim her. You guys are my backup in case her family tries to stop me."

According to our laws, you aren't allowed to stop someone from claiming the woman they want. It is forbidden.

Delphine's family follows the laws as far as I know, so I don't expect much trouble from them.

Knocking on their front door, I wait anxiously for them to answer.

Once the door opens, Joey Parker's jaw drops. "Dane, what can I help you with?"

It was no secret that I was going to claim Delphine as mine. The only person who didn't know was Delphine herself. 

"I'm here for Delphine." I could tell by his eyes that he didn't like me picking his daughter as my wife, but he opens the door and welcoms me into the house. "I would prefer if you brought Kasen, Asher, and Kelly into the living room while I go tell Delphine."

Joey calls out for the three of them and they all come stumbling into the living room, probably wondering why he was calling for them only and not Delphine.

Asher gives me a smile and a nod while Kasen just gives me a nod. Kelly is distraught but doesn't voice her concerns. Instead, she instructs the guys to sit down and let me do what I was going to do.

"Make sure no one disturbs me while I claim my woman." Then I turned and made my way to Delphine's room.

Having never been inside her home, I'm not sure exactly where her room is. However, that doesn't matter once I hear laughter floating down the hallway.

Delphine has a friend over. Since most of the women in this town hate her, because of me, I know it has to be Anna. They've been best friends for as long as I can remember.

Standing outside her door, I listen to their conversation. "Seriously Del, you don't know what you're missing! Sex is amazing." Someone sighs, and I assume it's Delphine. She is the only other person I know who follows the laws to the fullest extent. "I've had sex with five guys, Delphine. Nothing is going to happen. Rafe never punished the women who had sex before marriage."

"You need to keep your voice down, Anna. If someone hears you..."

"No one knows, Delphine. Stop being a stick in the mud."

"You know that Rafe is dead, and Dane is in charge. He's the leader. You know that he will uphold our laws."

"I'm not worried. No one is going to tell Dane, and I'm sure he's going to be fine with it." Anna is mistaken. She obviously doesn't know me as well as I thought that she did. "Seriously, Delphine, go out and fuck someone. You'll understand why I continue to sleep with people."
