Grand Highboob x Female!Reader

One shot

You wake up and look over to the spot next to you surprised what you saw. What you see is the most beautiful person ever Grand Highboob. As you stated this in your head you remember that you were her matesprit. That you were blessed to wake up to her every day/night. I guess it would be night. Anyway you get up to get the day-night started. You look at the clock as it said 12:58PM. You weren't surprised as it was the weekend and you usually stay up late. What made you surprised is that Grand wasn't up yet. You think of waking her up, but you decided to not. You put on a purple dress with black pants.

 

~Time skip of waking up routine~

 

After breakfast/lunch you go and see if she is up. You go to the room only to see her still asleep. You go to wake her but before you could you see scars on her arm. You didn't know what to do. Do you wake up and ask about her or do nothing. You didn't want to jump to conclusion. You mean she does kill people for a living so it might just be from people fighting back. You decide say something.

 

"Hey it's time to wake up it's 1:14." You whisper to her. Her eyes flutter open. She looks to you and gives you a soft smile.

 

"Hey sweety-kins how are you?" She half whispers to you as she sits up. Seeing her eyes full of love made it hard for you to say something.

 

"I'm doing good. Um, I wanted to talk to you about something. I saw some scars on your arms that worried me and I wanted to know if your ok. You can tell me anything, you know that, right?" You asked her in a quiet voice not wanting anyone hear it. After you said that, you look her in the eye. Seeing them full of sadness.

 

"Yes I know about that. It nothing really it's just work scars," She touches your face, " Its nice to know that you're worried about me."

 

She left you on the bed, you watch go over to the bathroom and lock the door. Still scared that she would start cut or do something worse than that. You sneak off of the bed to the door where you put your ear against. To hear the one thing you didn't want to hear....Crying. I made you remember that day you saw her cry.

 

*Flashback to before you were her matesprit*

 

It was your first ever mission to help the rebellion. To cull a subjugglator. You sneak to the door and got into the hive easily. You walk through the hive without anyone noticing you. You came up to the door that had blood all over it. You guess it was the culling quarters for the subjugglator. You slip into the room and see the Grand Highboob. You wanted to run knowing you don't have the fighting skill to cull her, until you see something you never thought you would. You saw her crying and you think of a few seconds how people forget that even if you're a 'monster' that you still have feelings. You wanted to go up to her and comfort her. But you know that you'll be culled and you have to cull her. You decide that you won't do it.  You left and came back the next day. You sat outside her window and made sure she was there. You started to sing Over The Rainbow & What A Wonderful World by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. Happy to know you could play the ukulele. She heard and you two became friends.

 

*End of flashback*

Knowing she love when you sing that song. Thinking it had been a long time from the last time you sang it. You want to go find your lucky/favorite ukulele. You find it a minute later you went back to the room to see to she was still in the bathroom. You sat down in front of the door and started to sing. When you were singing you could hear her move close to bathroom door. Seeing if she would come, out you move over to bed. Happy it was 5 minute song. When you were done you saw her outside the bathroom. She was leaning against the door, watching you. You see her face stained with purple from her tears, which tightened your heart. You start to sing a different song to see if it make her come closer. The song was Dance With You by Live. By the time you were done with the song, she was next to you. She had put her head on your lap and closed her eyes which made her look like he was sleeping. You put down your ukulele and started petting her. After awhile of petting her you start to fall asleep and you remove her head from your lap to cuddle up to her. You hear a soft whisper of thank you. You smile as you get comfortable and fall asleep. Saying “your welcome my love.”
