Chapter 20: The Queen

The trio arrived at the Jungle. They went into the caves and looked around. 

"Hm." Bell said. "I do remember seeing what did look like a giant beehive." 

"Really?! Take us there!!" Mike excitedly burst out.

"Mike, it's been a bit since we were last down here, she probably doesn't remember that well." Zach told him.

"Yeah, you expect me to remember every single thing about our adventures that happened like, a few days ago?" Bell said.

"That isn't even that long! We fought the Eye like an entire week ago but I still remember everything about it!" Mike stammered.

"Whatever. I think it was that way." Bell said while pointing at the area they had gone to when they were searching for items to make jungle gear.

The group went to that area and, after poking around for a bit, found a giant beehive.

They broke inside.

"Ugh, it's so dark."

The group planted torches all around, and Mike found a bee larvae where he was placing them.

"Hey guys! Look at this!" He said. "A huge block of honey! It looks so good!" 

Mike took a large bite out of the honey surrounding the bee larvae. Suddenly, it broke in front of him.

"Uhh...? Is that bad?" 

Suddenly, the group heard a distant, yet loud roar. Suddenly, a HUGE bee shattered the wall of the hive and tackled Mike. 

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Mike screamed out as the bee charged him into the wall.

"Mike!!" Bell screamed out. Mike couldn't be seen. The bee was charging Mike against the walls of the Jungle, hurting him.

The bee charged into the hive again and Mike flew off of her. 

"Someone help!!" Mike yelled as he fell into a pool of honey.

"Mike! Are you okay?!" Bell called out. No answer. "No... he can't be dead!"

"We shouldn't be worrying about that right now, we should be worrying about that bee!" Zach yelled. "I have a plan, I'll distract it, then you shoot it with your Minishark while it's focusing on me!" 

"Right!"

Zach began slashing at the bee. It dodged and began to fire stingers at him. He quickly dodged them while Bell shot at it from behind. The bee quickly took note of this and attacked her instead.

"Zach! Help!" Bell yelled. The Queen Bee fired a swarm of bees that quickly chased Bell. She was stuck, rapidly being stung. Then, the Bee charged at Bell. She was very weak. 

"No!" Zach said. He quickly jumped in front of Bell and took the hit for her. Zach was charged by the Bee and pinned against the wall. He was slowly losing health. He had accidentally dropped his sword before he got charged. Bell was in shock. Zach sacrificed himself to save her. She quickly snapped out of it when she noticed his Blade of Grass laying next to her. She picked it up and impulsively jumped at the Bee. She hadn't used a sword before, so she was nervous. This was her only chance, she couldn't screw it up! She closed her eyes, slashed at hard at she could...

SLICE!

When she opened her eyes, she was on the ground, with Zach laying next to her. He was very weak, but not dead. She looked up to see the Bee's right wing was cut off. Guts were oozing out of it, and the Bee was off-balance. She shoved a mushroom into Zach's mouth, and gave him his sword back.

"I'll protect you!" She said. "Stay back!"

The Bee fired a bunch of stingers and bees at Bell. She couldn't dodge it. She was very damaged and poisoned. The Bee got ready to finish them, but then they heard a voice yell out. 

"YAAAAAAAHHHH!!"

It was Mike! He jumped at the Bee. He swung his Vilethorn and pierced straight through the Bee. He suddenly pulled back the Vilethorn. Guts leaked out of the Bee until...

BOOM!!

The Bee exploded into a bunch of parts. Three Treasure Bags fell out, very similar to the ones from the Eye and Eater. The group collected their bags and went back home.
