¥Chapter One¥

"Good Morning. Megan. Time for school, you have go today." Mom tells me.

I tried to act like I was still asleep. So that I can sleep through school, but that didn't work. My mother pulled off my nice, soft, and warm blanket off me. Which wasn't very nice. I got up and slide into my slippers. Then walked over to my bathroom. My mom didn't know, but I have a boyfriend that is very abusive. Once I got into my bathroom.

I look into my broken mirror. With my shimmer. Yep, that's right, my punched my right in my eye.

"Megon! Hurry up, school starts in 5 minutes. I want to get you there in time for you choir rehearsal." Mom yells right up the wooden stairs.

I hurry and grabbed my make up. To cover up this black and blue horror. So my mom won't be questioning me on the way to school. That if she seen my lovely shiner. After that I ran to my closet. Grabbed my pink flower crop top. With my nice black leggings. They pull up my bra strap and run out of my room.

I ran down the stairs about to fall and roll down. But I caught myself. Once I got to the bottom. I slipped on my bobs from Rue21 and put on my bag. My mom was already in the car. So I hurry grabbed a snack bar and ran out onto the car. On the way to school. My mother had to ask about my first with Joe.

"So Megan, how was your very first kiss." She brings up.

I try not cry because of my make up on my on eye can wash away.

"It was pretty amazing." I lied to her.

Then the car was silent for awhile until my song came on. Which was Kelly Clarkson Break Away. Mother and I sat in the car singing. When the car is slowly moving up the road to my school. Once I reached school. There is Joe standing there. With my bestie Maryn.

Little does she same as my mom that I have a black eye shinner. That Joe gave from last night. Once I reached my school. I run up to Maryn trying to forget about Joe and trying to ignore him. Well that did work. He came up to my showered me with hugs and kisses. I try to not blush and smile. Same as all girls. They couldn't hold it back.

My giggle came out and made Joe smile with it. Loving my every smile. Where Maryn was like "Aw, how cute." Where I am like "get off of me." Some days I wish that I can give up in life and live underground. With no worries about a boyfriend who can murder me.

"Hey, Babe can I talk to you?" Joes slowly whisper in my ear.

I whisper back "Sure."

"Hey, Maryn can please leave us alone for a bit." Joes ask nicely to Maryn.
