NATALIE

The blonde mid-sized manager of the company greeted us.

"We are very sorry for your loss," he said, shaking Katherine's mother's hand, looking at me, and holding out his hand. When she met Katherine's manager, an old woman pointed me, "She is my daughter's best friend." The despair on her face hurt my heart. I could not understand how a person could be so ashamed of his loneliness. I even thought that Katherine was lucky. After all, she had chosen to face at least the only sincere person in the circle. By itself. As I walked through the long corridor, mostly made of glass, to Katherine's room, I saw everyone in the glass cabinets staring at us. Then the workers left their rooms and stood in line to greet us. Everyone crossed our path and hugged Katherine's mother. There were even those who could not hold back their tears.

I put my hand on her shoulder and said, "You stay here. I put the things in the car,". When I was alone in the room, I would check the table better. Because, If Katherine was watching me before she is killed, then she must have known something about me.
The manager said, "Don't worry. I will give you two assistants" His voice did not match his appearance. The voice of a man who looked very gentle from the outside sounded as if he was preparing to shout at the soldiers to attack them in the war.I saw A small silver poster on the door "Finance Department." There were two tables in the room.
As soon as I entered the door, the table in front of me was empty and you could see the mountain. The girl, who was also sitting at the side table, left the room a few minutes ago to greet Katherine's mother. Two young men my age followed us. Katherine's mother approached the table. With a gentle touch to the tin of the table, she slowly came to the center of the table. I glanced at the table from a distance to leave her alone with her daughter's memory. using this opportunity made me feel very cunning and hypocritical.
Her mother smiled as she picked up an old frame with white stripes. Mrs. Jennings took her granddaughter in her arms and looked at the camera with a tired smile. The photo was probably taken by Katherine herself. The assistants left the boxes on the side table and left the room and stood in the corridor.Katherine's mother stroked everything on the table with her hands. Then she turned and looked at the black office chair which her daughter was sitting. It was as if Katherine had come to work again, and as if she were sitting in that chair, she pounded the mattress with her hands and put it back on the chair.

All the documents on the table were removed. I wondered if there was anything about me or us among those documents. I saw Katherine's mother with tears in her eyes as she sat on the small leather sofa and looked at the picture of her daughter in the small frame. I knew it would not be good for him to stay here. I first put small souvenirs in front of the monitor in the box. Then I carefully placed the frame on the edge of the face so that the glass does not break. I opened the back of the frame inside the box and checked to see if anything was there. When I was a child, the best place to hide my money from my brother was behind bars. Then Katherine's roommate came and said that some things were belonging to her in the kitchen.

Mrs. Jennings got up and left the room, telling me, "I'll take them myself." I looked behind me and waited for them to go to the kitchen. Immediately after disappearing, I took a good look at what belonged to her before putting it in the box one by one. When I put the scarf and hat out of the drawer on top of the box, one of the boxes was almost full and the other box was not needed. I opened the small closet in the back and saw Katherine's dark red jacket. I grabbed the hanger and carefully folded it and put it on top of the box. I did not know what I was looking for here. But I was looking for something. It belongs to me. It belongs to Paul. But I did not find anything. But I did not regret it. Because at least I helped an old and lonely woman. Before closing the closet door, I saw a small dark gray cash at the bottom. Before bending my knees and preparing to pick up the box, I squeezed my arm muscles to gather the strength to pick up the box. Even though the cash registers were small, they were always heavy. It was lighter than I thought when I lifted it with both hands. I shook it inside. But I heard him move in something silent. Most likely there was money in it. Or if it wasn't money, I had a doubt that excited me. In the distance, I saw her mother and co-worker coming towards the room. This cashbox would be the ideal place in this office to hide anything. So the right thing to do was to look inside before I handed the box to my mother.

I wrapped the cash in Katherines' jacket and followed the assistant out of the room. I smiled at her mother and said, "We put them in the car," and quickly followed the young assistant. I approached the car parked in front of the building, opened the trunk of the car, and put the cashbox wrapped in the first jacket. Then I stepped back from the back of my car to comfortably place the auxiliary box.

"Ms. Natalie!"When I heard my footsteps, I quickly turned around. My feet suddenly locked to the ground. My heart started beating faster."What are you doing here?" detective Ian was smiling. His usual self-satisfied and anxious smile made it even harder for me to control myself. He seemed to know that I was hiding something from his eyes.
